Protecting the environment
Unpack the appliance and dispose of the packaging inline with the environmental requirements.
NOTICE
Always turn appliance on when cooking to avoid condensation buildup. Condensation can lead to corrosion damage.
Risk of damage due to moisture entering into the electronic circuitry.
Never clean operator controls with a wet cloth. Surface damage may be caused due to incorrect cleaning. Clean
stainless steel surfaces in the brushing direction only. Do not use any stainless steel cleaners for operators controls.
Never use strong or abrasive cleaning agents, since they can cause surface damage.

Operations
A Power
• Press the POWER button and the hood will be activated at default speed (default
speed: Low).
• Press again and the hood will turn off.
B Low • Press the Low button and the hood will be activated at low speed.
C Med • Press the Med button and the hood will be activated at medium speed.
D High • Press the High button and the hood will be activated at high speed.
E Boost
Press the Boost button and the hood will be activated at maximum speed for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, the hood will reduce to high speed.
• Normal mode: High & Boost CFM is the same (max. 390 CFM for single fan models
and 780 CFM for double fan models).

F Auto
• Press the Auto button to activate the auto heat-sensing feature. When Auto is
activated, the fan speed will increase as the cooktop heat increases and decrease as
the cooktop heat decreases.
• To turn off auto heat-sensing, press one of the hood speed buttons (Low, Med, High
or Boost). This will disable the auto heat-sensing feature. To re-enable auto heat-
sensing feature, press the Auto button.
• Even if there is no heat (including when cooktop is off or not connected via Bluetooth)
the hood will operate at low speed, until Power button is pressed.
• Auto heat-sensing feature does not require the hood to be connected via Bluetooth
with a compatible Dacor cooktop.
G Timer Display • Shows the timer settings.
H Timer
Setting the Timer ON
• Press the Timer button to set the working time.
• Each time you press the Timer, you add 10 minutes to the displayed time, up to a
maximum of 99 minutes. The hood will stay on for the amount of time you have set.
• After the Timer counts down to zero, the timer LED light will start to blink. The Timer
LED will blink for 5 seconds, and then the hood will turn off automatically.
Setting the Timer OFF
• Press the Timer button for 3 seconds and the Timer function will turn off.
I Light
• Press the Light button. The lights come on at the high setting.
• Press the Light button a second time. The lights turn dimmer. Press the Light button
a third time, the lights turn off.
Muting / Unmuting the hood
• Press and hold the Light button for 3 seconds to turn off the control sounds.
• Press and hold again to turn on the sounds

ConnectOn
(Auto Connectivity)
• Press the ConnectOn button to activate the function.
• The hood will turn on/off automatically following the cooktop.
• Press again to deactivate the function.

Hood connectivity
This appliance has a feature which allows you to pair compatible Dacor cooking products and your hood via Bluetooth.
After you enable this function and pair your hood and a compatible product, the hood fan will automatically come on at
Low speed when you turn on a cooking burner / element. The hood fan will also shut off automatically when you turn
off the cooking burner / element.
Bluetooth connection (pairing)
1. Press the ConnectOn button on hood for 3 seconds. The pairing mode will be activated and the Bluetooth icon will
blink.
2. Press the Bluetooth button on the cooking product.

Bluetooth disconnection (pairing reset)
1. Press and hold the ConnectOn button and Light button on the hood for 3 seconds.
2. The Bluetooth connection disconnects.
ConnectOn (Auto Connectivity)
The ConnectOn function lets you quickly connect the hood via Bluetooth with a compatible Dacor cooking product
after they have been paired. To turn the function on, press the ConnectOn button. To turn the function off and
disconnect the hood and cooking product, press the ConnectOn button again. While connected, the hood fan will
automatically turn on when you turn on the cooking product. The hood fan will also shut off automatically when you
turn off the cooking product.
Note that the hood fan speed will turn on at:
• Auto speed (if Auto button was last enabled)
• Low speed (if Auto button was last disabled)

2. The hood will turn on/off automatically with the paired product.
3. Press again to deactivate the function.

These functions are only available if you have installed a compatible Dacor Bluetooth cooking product.

• Press and hold again the High and Boost button on the hood for 3 seconds to convert fan performance (CFM

United States - Warranty
CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY ON DACOR HOOD - UNITED STATES:
FULL TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship in the Dacor-branded new appliance purchased from a
Dacor Authorized Dealer or other seller authorized by Dacor.
This full warranty runs for two years starting from the date of original retail purchase receipt or closing date for new
construction, whichever period is longer. Dacor will repair or replace your product.
LIMITED WARRANTY
After the Full Warranty period has ended, this product is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship
reported to us during the applicable warranty periods as follows:
Cosmetic Defects. In addition, for 60 days from the date of purchase, your product is warranted to be free from
cosmetic defects in material and workmanship (such as scratches of stainless steel, paint/porcelain blemishes, chip,

Product under this Limited Warranty, to offer the Purchaser a partial refund of the original purchase price paid by the
our discretion based on the fair market value of the Product given its age and condition. If Purchaser accepts that offer

All repaired parts or replaced Products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited
Warranty on the original Product or for 90 days, whichever is longer.

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The remedies provided for in this Limited Warranty are available only within Canada.
This Limited Warranty does not cover any defect, malfunction, failure or damage caused by or resulting from any of the
following:
(a) removal, installation, re-installation, maintenance, or service of the Product that was not authorized by us; (b)
wiring, circuit breakers, connectors not supplied by us, unusual electrical or electromechanical stress, acts of God, or
part of the Product; (d) use of the Product in conjunction with products, equipment, utilities, services, parts, supplies,
accessories, applications, external wiring, connectors, or ancillary or peripheral equipment not supplied or authorized
by us; (e) uses for which the Product was not intended.
Further, this Limited Warranty does not cover: (i) any Product or part from which the serial number has been removed
or on which the serial number has been made illegible.
Removing the serial number on any Product or rendering it illegible on any Product will immediately void the Limited
Warranty for that Product; (ii) any damage whatsoever that occurs during shipment of the Product once the Product
has been accepted by the Purchaser; (iii) any damage whatsoever resulting from any failure to follow operating,
maintenance or environmental instructions contained in any instruction booklet or owner’s manual available in
connection with the Product; (iv) service fees for travel to islands and remote areas, which include but are not limited
to, ferries, toll roads, or other travel expenses; (v) replacement of house fuses, fuse boxes, or resetting of circuit
other structures or objects; (vii) the cost of service calls for instructions, for the correction of installation errors, for
customer adjustments that are explained in the Product owner’s manual, or where the Product operates according
Limited Warranty; (viii) breakage, discoloration or damage to glass, metal surfaces, plastic components, trim, paint, or
rental use, or any application other than residential consumer use; (xi) colour variation due to differences in painted

(a) removal, installation, re-installation, maintenance, or service of the Product that was not authorized by us; (b)
wiring, circuit breakers, connectors not supplied by us, unusual electrical or electromechanical stress, acts of God, or
part of the Product; (d) use of the Product in conjunction with products, equipment, utilities, services, parts, supplies,
accessories, applications, external wiring, connectors, or ancillary or peripheral equipment not supplied or authorized
by us; (e) uses for which the Product was not intended.
Further, this Limited Warranty does not cover: (i) any Product or part from which the serial number has been removed

LIMITACIÓN A LA DURACIÓN DE LA GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA NO SE APLICARÁ EN LA MEDIDA EN QUE DICHA LIMITACIÓN
ESTÉ PROHIBIDA POR LA LEY PROVINCIAL APLICABLE.
(F) NO SEREMOS RESPONSABLES POR DAÑOS DE NINGÚN TIPO (INCLUYENDO, SIN LIMITACIÓN, CUALQUIER
DAÑO INCIDENTAL, ESPECIAL, CONSECUENTE O SIMILAR QUE RESULTE O SURJA DIRECTA O INDIRECTAMENTE
DE CUALQUIERA DE LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS: (i) LA COMPRA, USO O MAL USO DEL PRODUCTO; (ii) CUALQUIER
PÉRDIDA DE USO DEL PRODUCTO O INCAPACIDAD DE USAR EL PRODUCTO; (iii) CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA
GARANTÍA EXPRESA; (iv) CUALQUIER PÉRDIDA DE GANANCIAS O BENEFICIOS PREVISTOS; (v) CUALQUIER PÉRDIDA
DE ALIMENTOS O CONSUMIBLES; (vi) CUALQUIER AGRAVIO (INCLUYENDO NEGLIGENCIA O NEGLIGENCIA GRAVE) O
FALTA COMETIDA POR NOSOTROS, SUS AGENTES O EMPLEADOS; (vii) CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE CONTRATO;
(viii) CUALQUIER RECLAMO PRESENTADO CONTRA EL COMPRADOR POR CUALQUIER OTRA PARTE. ALGUNAS
PROVINCIAS PROHÍBEN LA EXCLUSIÓN O LIMITACIÓN DE DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O CONSECUENTES, Y LA EXCLUSIÓN
ANTERIOR DE DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O CONSECUENTES NO SE APLICARÁ EN LA MEDIDA EN QUE DICHA EXCLUSIÓN
ESTÉ PROHIBIDA POR LA LEY PROVINCIAL APLICABLE.
(G) ESTA GARANTÍA LE OTORGA DERECHOS LEGALES ESPECÍFICOS E INCLUSO PUEDE OTORGARLE OTROS
DERECHOS, QUE VARÍAN DE UNA PROVINCIA A OTRA. LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA LIMITADA INDICA EL RECURSO
EXCLUSIVO DEL COMPRADOR. SALVO DONDE LO PROHÍBE LA LEY PROVINCIAL APLICABLE, LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA
LIMITADA NO ES TRANSFERIBLE SIN NUESTRO CONSENTIMIENTO EXPRESO.

(H) SI CUALQUIER PARTE DE ESTA GARANTÍA LIMITADA SE CONSIDERA ILEGAL O IMPOSIBLE DE APLICAR POR
MOTIVO DE CUALQUIER LEY, DICHA ILEGALIDAD PARCIAL O IMPOSIBILIDAD DE APLICACIÓN NO AFECTARÁ LA
EJECUCIÓN DEL RESTO DE LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA LIMITADA.

FUERA DE ESTADOS UNIDOS Y CANADÁ:
GARANTÍA LIMITADA AL PRIMER AÑO
Si su producto Dacor deja de funcionar antes de que transcurra un año a partir de la fecha de compra original debido
reemplazar la pieza defectuosa.
