or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth.

20. In a microwave, liquids such as water, coee, or tea can become overheated beyond
the boiling point without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling is not always present
when the container is removed from the microwave oven. THIS COULD RESULT
IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS
DISTURBED OR A SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.
a. Do not overheat liquids.
b. Stir liquids both before and halfway through heating them.

d. After heating, allow the container to stand in the oven for a short time before
removing it.
