CLEANING
BAGEL function
The toaster has a pre-set function for toasting bagels.
Insert the bagel as illustrated (Fig. 7).
Select the desired toasting level and push down the lever (see the Directions for Use
section).
Press the BAGEL button (Fig. 8).
The BAGEL button and the STOP button will light up.
DEFROST function
The toaster has a pre-set defrost function: toasting frozen bread takes more time than
toasting fresh bread.
Insert one or two slices of frozen bread into the toaster (Fig. 9).
Select the desired toasting level and push down the lever (see the Directions for Use
section).
Press the DEFROST button (Fig. 9).
The DEFROST button and the STOP button will light up.
REHEAT function
The toaster has a pre-set function to heat slices of bread without grilling them rst.
The reheating time is automatic, regardless of the position of the control dial (about 30
seconds).
Insert the slices of bread or toast in the toaster and push down the lever.
Press the REHEAT button (Fig. 10).
The REHEAT button and the STOP button will light up.
Before removing the crumb tray, let the toaster cool down for at least ten minutes
after the last use.
Before maintenance, cleaning or putting the appliance away, unplug from the mains
supply and let the appliance cool down.
Cleaning is quick and easy thanks to the crumb tray. Just pull the handle that is provided
for this purpose. Carry out this operation regularly (Fig. 11).
Never immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid to clean it.
Never use an abrasive sponge to clean the toaster. Clean it with a damp cloth and wipe
it with a soft, dry cloth.
Wipe using a warm cloth and then put the crumb tray back in place.
Never use the toaster without the crumb tray.
