Powerboost function
The Powerboost function can be used to heat large amounts of
water more quickly than the power level
Š.
Restrictions when using
As two independent hotplates: (model 1) if you want to activate
this function for hotplate 1, hotplate 2 must be turned off, and
vice versa. If not turned off, the letter
and power level Š will
flash alternately on the hotplate display and the power level
Š
will be reset without activating the function.
As one single hotplate: (model 2) the Powerboost function can
be activated on the entire hotplate. In this case, place the pan
at the centre of the flexible zone as shown in the Flexible zone
section.
How to activate
1. Select power level 9.
2. Press the boost G symbol.
The
indicator lights up.
The function will have been activated.
How to deactivate
Select a power level other than 9. The indicator will no longer
be displayed.
The Powerboost function will have been deactivated.
Note: In certain circumstances, the Powerboost function may
turn off automatically in order to protect the electronic
components inside the hob.

This function allows you to turn off a hotplate automatically.

Notes

shows the time for this function. To view the remaining
cooking time for a hotplate, select the corresponding
hotplate.
If a time has been programmed for several hotplates, the
time of the selected hotplate is always shown.
Cooking times can be programmed for up to 99 minutes.
Automatic time limitation
If the hotplate remains in use for a long time and no changes
are made in the settings, the automatic time limitation function
is triggered.
The hotplate stops heating. The
