active and can be used to probe electrical components, such that the voltage across
each component will be reflected on the screen. Please note that the Volt Probe
comes with both a probe tip and an alligator clip tip. Pressing “ENTER” at any point
will return you to the Home Screen.
To use the Amp Clamp, connect it via the accessory port to the left (color coded
black). From the Home Screen on the Tester, select CONFIGURATION and Press
“ENTER.” Then, select AMMETER and Press “ENTER.” The Amp Clamp is now
active and can be used to find the amp flow through a specific cable or connector in
the vehicle, such that the amperage flowing through that cable will be reflected on
the screen. Pressing “ENTER” at any point will return you to the Home Screen.
Memory
The tester can store up to 1000 test result for later downloading via the available PC
software (see Software Download Section for Details). If you reach the limit of the
available storage, the tester will alert you that the memory is full. At this point, each
future test will overwrite previously saved test data.
We recommend that, if you reach the limit of the available storage, you either
upload the stored test data to your computer/system or clear the stored test data.
To clear the stored test data, on the Home Screen, select CONFIGURATION and
Press “ENTER.” Then select CLEAR MEMORY and press “ENTER.” The tester will
ask you to confirm that you wish to clear the memory. Select YES and “ENTER.”
The tester will confirm that the memory has been cleared and instruct you to Press
“ENTER” to return to the Home Screen.
If you get a Memory Error, it is recommended to upload existing stored results, as
needed, and clear the tester’s saved results as per the instructions in the above
paragraph.
Counter Function
The tester is equipped with a counter function that allows you to track the number
of tests performed over time. The counter can be accessed through the
Configuration Screen. From the Home Screen, scroll down to CONFIGURATION
and press “ENTER” to go to the Configuration Screen. To access the counter, scroll
