2.2.4.4 Sweep Mode
Sweep mode includes auto, sweep and FFT.
1. Auto Mode
When the sweep mode is auto-coupled, the analyzer selects the sweep mode automatically
between Sweep and FFT Mode.
2. Sweep Mode
Work in point-by-point scanning, slow and time-consuming, fits when RBW is more than 10
kHz.
3. FFT Mode
Work in Parallel scans, fast and short time. This FFT mode is only available when RBW is less
than 30 kHz.
2.2.4.5 QPD Dwell Time
Dwell time is the measurement time at a single frequency. QPD detector gets its weighted
envelope response during dwell time. The longer dwell time is, the more sufficiently QPD detector
responses to a single frequency, the more accuracy the QPD detector envelope is.
