Removing the foam block

1. Take the hoses out of the holders.
2. Unscrew and remove all four transport brace screws.
a) Remove the mains cable from the holders.
b) Remove the sleeves.
3. Fit the covers.
4. Lock the covers firmly in place by applying pressure to the snap-in hooks.

Level the appliance using a spirit level.
Incorrect levelling may result in intense noise, vibrations and "wandering".
1. Loosen the lock nuts using a wrench, by turning it in a clockwise direction.
2. Check the alignment of the appliance with a spirit level, and adjust it if necessary. Change the height by turning the appliance feet.
3. Tighten the lock nut against the housing.

Before washing for the first time
The appliance was inspected thoroughly before leaving the factory. To remove any residual test water, run the DrumCare programme the first time without laundry.
Note:
1. Insert mains plug.
2. Turn the water tap on.
3. Close the door. Do not load any laundry.
4. Select the DrumCare 90°C programme.
5. Open the detergent drawer.
6. Pour approx. 1 litre of water into manual dosing compartment.
7. Add standard detergent to manual dosing compartment according to manufacturer’s instructions for light soiling.

8. Close the detergent drawer.
9. Select A 开始/添衣 (Start/Reload) .
10. When the programme ends, turn the programme selector to Off.

0 Programme default settings
Programme default settings
You can change the default settings for selected programmes. The settings can be changed even while the selected programme is running. The effects depending on the progress of the programme.
6 温度 (Temperature)
Before and after the programme starts, you can change the temperature setting, depending on what stage the programme is in, by adjusting the desired temperature on the display.
The maximum temperature that can be set depends on the programme that has been selected.
0 转速 (Spin speed)
Depending on what stage the programme is in, you can change the spin speed (in rpm; revolutions per minute) before and during the programme by adjusting the desired speed on the display.
setting 2: 2 =”No spin”. The rinsing water is drained but there is no final spin. The laundry stays wet inside the drum, e.g. for items that should not be spun.
You can select “No spin” to prevent creasing if the laundry will not be taken out of the appliance immediately after the programme has ended.
The maximum speed that can be set depending on the model and the programme that has been selected.
ñ 预约/定时 (Finish in time)
Before starting the programme, you can preselect the programme end ("Finish in" time) in 0.5h (h = hour) increments (between “minimum selectable ending time” and 9.5h) or 1 hour increments (between 10h and 24h) up to a maximum of 24 hours.
To do this:
1. Select a programme (except myTime programme).
2. Select the ñ 预约/定时 (Finish in time) button repeatedly until the required number of hours is displayed.
3. Select the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
Note:
The length of the programme is automatically adjusted when the programme is running. Changes to the programme default settings or additional programme settings may also change the programme duration.
After starting the programme (if a “Finish in” time has been selected and the programme has not yet started), you can change the preselected number of hours as follows:
1. Select the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
2. Select the ñ 预约/定时 (Finish in time) button repeatedly to change the number of hours.
3. Select the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.

Note:
You can find possible additional programme settings in the overview; these differ depending on the model.
By selecting additional programme settings, you can better adapt the washing/drying process to your items of laundry.
The settings can be selected or deselected depending on the progress of the programme.
The button indicator lamps light up if a setting is activated.
The settings are not retained after the appliance is switched off.
É 加烘干 (Mode selection)
Touch É 加烘干 (Mode selection) to activate or deactivate the drying function. The washing and drying without interruption mode, individual drying mode and individual washing mode can be selected with this function.
Notes
Ï 加漂洗 (Rinse plus)
Settings that can be selected:
Additional rinse cycles for particularly sensitive skin and/or for areas with very soft water.
Longer programme duration, due to additional rinse cycle.
The number of rinse cycles that the programme actually runs depends on the number that is set as a basic setting for the programme.
2 热风除菌 (hygiene care)
An innovative function, pretreat dry laundry by hot air (up to 65°C) for additional hygienic demands, followed by a low temperature washing cycle. Achieves both hygiene effect and fabric care. Suitable for most non-delicate textiles.
Note:
During this process, the drum light will illuminate for approx. 10 minutes.
G 提速 (SpeedPerfect)
Washing in a shorter time while achieving a washing result that is consistent with the normal performance.
Touch G 提速 (SpeedPerfect) to activate or deactivate this additional programme setting.
Note:
With the G 提速 (SpeedPerfect) additional programme setting activated, the maximum load of washing will be reduced, and extra water will be needed for the washing process.
Ž i-DOS setting
Your appliance has an intelligent dosing system for liquid detergent (w) and fabric softener (©).
The optimum quantities of liquid detergent and fabric softener are dispensed automatically.
You can press Ž i-DOS to activate or deactivate automatic dosing and set the basic dosages.

Preparing the appliance
The appliance was tested before delivery. To remove residual water from the test procedure, the first wash cycle should be run without laundry using the DrumCare programme. ~ "Before washing for the first time" on page 21

Note:
If you have activated the childproof lock, you must first deactivate it before you can set a programme.
Use the programme selector to select the required programme. The programme selector can be rotated in either direction.
The appliance is switched on.
The programme default settings for the selected programme alternately appear in the display panel:
Placing laundry into the drum
Open the door, place laundry in the drum, make sure that no items of laundry are trapped between the door and the rubber seal, and close the door.

Measuring and adding detergent and care products
For the majority of programs on your appliance, detergent and fabric softener are dispensed automatically; it is a factory setting for these programs and can be changed.

For programs without intelligent dosing, or if you wish to control the dosing yourself (in which case, deactivate intelligent dosing), you will need to add detergent manually to the manual dosing compartment.

Starting the programme
Touch and hold A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button for 1~2 seconds, then release the button. The programme starts and the appliance door is locked.
The finish-in time is shown in the display panel and counts down until the programme starts. After the programme has started, the programme duration is displayed. And the symbols for the programme progress are lighting up.
Childproof lock
You can lock the appliance to prevent the settings you have set from being changed inadvertently. To do this, activate the childproof lock.
To activate the childproof lock:
After the programme starts, Touch and hold the 2 热风除菌 (hygiene care) and ñ 预约 (Finish in time) buttons for 3 seconds. The symbol E lights up in the display panel.
Note:
When the programme ends, End is displayed. The door is unlocked. E symbol remain on to remind you to deactivate the childproof lock.
To deactivate the childproof lock:
Touch and hold the 2 热风除菌 (hygiene care) and ñ 预约 (Finish in time) buttons until the symbol E disappears.
Adding/removing laundry
After starting the programme (only for washing), you can add or remove laundry if necessary.
Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/Reload) button. The appliance checks whether reloading is possible.
If the following appears on the display panel:
To continue the programme, touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/Reload) button. The programme continues automatically.

Changing the programme
If you have started the wrong programme by mistake, you can change the programme as follows:
1. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
2. Select another programme.
3. And touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button again. The new programme starts from the beginning.
Note:
If drying is activated, after touching the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button, when the Hot is displayed, waiting for the appliance running to cool down the laundry till the Hot disappears, then select another programme.
Cancel the programme
For programmes washing at high temperatures:
1. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
2. To cool down laundry: Select Rinse.
3. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
For programmes washing at low temperatures:
1. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
2. Select Spin.
3. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
For programmes in drying process:
1. Touch the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button.
2. If the Hot on the display panel, waiting for the appliance running to cool down the laundry till the Hot disappears.
Programme end
End lights up on the display and ~ and Õ displays are off.
If you have selected 2, the water is only drained after rinse process, no spin cycle.

Familiarising yourself with Ž i- DOS
Ž i-DOS Intelligent dosing system
Your appliance has an intelligent dosing system for liquid detergent and fabric softener.
The optimum quantities of liquid detergent and fabric softener are dispensed automatically depending on the programme and settings.
Automatic dosing is activated at the factory for all the designated programmes and it can be adjusted to suit your requirements. The settings are saved when the appliance is switched off.
For programmes in which automatic dosing is not possible, you can add suitable detergent to the compartment in the detergent drawer for manual dosing.
Ž i-DOS Detergent drawer
Before setting up Ž i-DOS
Follow the manufacturer's instructions when choosing your detergent and care product. We recommend using easy- pour, all-purpose, universal and colour liquid detergents for all machine- washable, coloured items made of cotton or synthetic fabrics.

Automatic dosing
Automatic dosing can be activated or deactivated for each of the designated wash programmes separately.
Automatic dosing can also be activated or deactivated once the programme has started, although this depends on which stage the programme is in.
To activate/deactivate automatic dosing, press Ž i-DOS briefly. The setting is saved until the next time it is changed.

Ž i-DOS Setting the dosage
The basic dosage is the recommended dosage for a typical load of household laundry comprising approx. 10 items of clothing. The quantity of detergent and care product actually dispensed is calculated using the basic dosage and the amount of laundry, ...
The basic dosages for liquid detergent and fabric softener are set at the factory. You can individually adjust the basic dosages for each dispenser.
Check whether the preset basic dosages follow the manufacturer's recommendations in terms of:
Refer to the packaging label on your liquid detergent/fabric softener or ask the manufacturer directly for this information.
If necessary, adjust the basic dosages to the recommended load for the liquid detergent/care product you are using, the water hardness and/or the degree of soiling.
Adjusting the basic dosage
1. Press and hold Ž i-DOS for approx. three seconds.
2. Change the setting using: ñ 预约 (Finish in time)
3. Briefly press Ž i-DOS.
4. Change the setting using: ñ 预约 (Finish in time)
5. Press and hold Ž i-DOS for approx. three seconds, briefly press any other selectable button or wait approx. 10 seconds to exit setting mode.

Filling the dispensers

Fill the dispensers as follows:
1. Pull out the detergent drawer.
2. Open the dispenser lids.
3. Pour liquid detergent and fabric softener into the relevant dispensers.

When refilling the dispensers, always use the same type of liquid detergent or fabric softener.
Do not mix different types of liquid detergent or fabric softener, as this can form lumps that may block the Ž i-DOS pump unit.
If you switch to a different liquid detergent or fabric softener (type, manufacturer, etc.), empty the relevant dispenser completely and clean it beforehand. ~ Page 42
Manual dosing
For programmes in which automatic dosing is not possible or desirable, or in which it has been deactivated, you will need to add detergent to the manual dosing compartment.
The detergent and/or care product in this compartment is dispensed when the wash cycle starts. Do not add fabric softener or any other products that should not be used until later in the wash cycle (e.g. during rinsing).
Note:
Programmes with prewash: When automatic dosing is deactivated, place the detergent for the prewash in the drum. Pour washing powder for the main wash into the manual dosing compartment.
Dosing and adding detergent
Note:
Find out the optimum dosage for detergent and care product.
1. Pull out the detergent drawer.
2. Pour laundry detergent and/or care product into the manual dosing compartment.
3. Push in the detergent drawer.
Emptying the Ž i-DOS detergent drawer, cleaning the Ž i-DOS detergent drawer and its housing, cleaning the Ž i- DOS pump unit
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Pull out the detergent drawer.
3. Press down the insert and remove the drawer completely.
4. Press the pump unit insert and remove it.
5. Unclip the rear detergent drawer lid and remove it.
6. Empty the detergent drawer.
7. Clean the pump unit with a damp cloth.
Caution!
8. Clean the drawer, inside surface and lids with a soft, damp cloth or a hand shower.
9. Dry the drawer, lids and pump unit and put them back together.
10. Clean the inside of the detergent drawer housing.
11. Push in the detergent drawer.

You can change the following settings:
You will need to activate the setting mode in order to change these settings.
Activate setting mode:
1. Set the programme selector to position 1. The appliance is switched on.
2. Touch and hold the 0 转速 (Spin speed) button and, at the same time, turn the programme selector clockwise to position 2. Release the 0 转速 (Spin speed) button.
Changing the volume and drum care information
Use the ñ 预约/定时 (Finish in time) button to change the following settings at the corresponding programme selector positions:
Exiting setting mode You can now end the process and set the programme selector to the Off position. The settings are saved.

Unbalanced load detection system
The automatic unbalanced load detection system detects imbalances and ensures even distribution of the laundry by repeatedly starting and stopping drum spinning.
If the laundry is extremely unevenly distributed, the spin speed is reduced or the spin cycle is not performed for safety reasons.
Note:
Place large and small items of laundry evenly in the drum.
Aqua-Sensors
Depending on the programme and model
During a rinse cycle, the Aqua sensor checks the turbidity of the rinsing water (turbidity is caused by dirt and detergent residue). The duration and the number of rinse cycles depend on the turbidity of the water.

Use chlorine-free cleaning agents, do not use steel wool.
If there are odours in the appliance, or to clean the drum, run the DrumCare 90°C programme without laundry.
Descaling
Descaling should not be necessary if the detergent is measured out correctly. However, if it is required, follow the manufacturer's instructions for the descaling agent. Suitable descalers can be obtained via our website or from customer services.
Drain pump is blocked
Note:
Turn the water tap off to prevent more water from flowing in and to ensure that it is drained via the pump.

1. Turn the programme selector to Off. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Open the service flap.
3. Take the drain hose out of the retainer.
4. Carefully unscrew the pump cover; residual water may leak out.
5. Refit and screw on the pump cover. The handle must be in a vertical position.
6. Close the service flap.
Note:
To prevent unused detergent from flowing straight into the drain during the next wash: Pour 1 litre of water into manual dosing compartment and start the Spin programme.
The drain hose at the siphon is blocked
1. Turn the programme selector to Off. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Loosen the hose clamp. Carefully remove the drain hose; residual water may leak out.
3. Clean the drain hose and siphon connecting piece.
4. Re-attach the drain hose and secure the connection point using the hose clamp.
Filter in the water supply is blocked
Release water pressure in the supply hose:
1. Turn off the water tap.
2. Select the Cottons (activate G 提速 (SpeedPerfect) setting) programme.
Note:
3. Select the A 开始/添衣 (Start/ Reload) button. Allow the programme to run for approx. 40 seconds.
4. Turn the programme selector to Off.
5. Pull out the mains plug.
Clean the filters:
1. Disconnect the hose from the rear of the appliance.
2. Use pliers to remove the filter.
3. Clean the filter with a small brush.
4. Connect the hose and check for leaks.

However, if the laundry has to be removed, the appliance door can be opened as follows:

Check whether the preset basic dosages follow the manufacturer's recommendations in terms of:

Refer to the packaging label on your liquid detergent/fabric softener or ask the manufacturer directly for this information.

If necessary, adjust the basic dosages to the recommended load for the liquid detergent/care product you are using, the water hardness and/or the degree of soiling.
