• If you are unableto tune digital channels, checkthe antenna
configuration (_ page37). If you are still unableto tune
digital channels,clear all channelsfrom the channel list
and reprogram channelsinto the channel memory
(_ page37). If you are still unableto tune digital channels,

Closed caption problems
• If the program or video you selectedis not closed-captioned,
no captions will display.
• If text is not available,a black rectangle mayappear. If this
happens,turn off the closed caption feature(_ page 50).
• A closed-captionsignal may not display correctly in the
following situations: a) when a videotapehas beendubbed;
b) when the signal receptionis weak; or c) when the signal
receptionis nonstandard(_ page50).
Rating blocking (V-Chip) problems
• If you forget your PIN code: While the PiN code entering
screenis displayed, press _ four times within 5 seconds.
The PIN codeyou previously stored will be cleared
(_ page53).
• TheV-Chip feature is availablefor the U.S.V-Chip system
only (_ page54).
No REGZA-LINKoperation
• The REGZA-LINKfeature is availablefor Toshiba REGZA-
LINK compatible devices.
• Makesure the HDMI cableswith the HDMI Logo
(H-"_ml) are used.
• When the connectedREGZA-LINKdevice does not work
correctly after you havechanged settings of the device,turn
off your TV and unplug the power cord, then plug and turn
on again.
• If several devicesare connected, REGZA-LINKfeature may
not operate properly.
• Readthe instruction manualfurnished with the connected
REGZA-LINKdevice.
HDMI problems
For HDMI cables
• Makesure the HDMI cableswith the HDMI Logo
(Hii_lml) are used (_ page12).
For Deep Color
• You should needto use High Speed HDMI cableto work
properly. NormalHDMI cableor DVl cablemaynot work with
this option (_ page 16).
For Legacy HDMI source
• Some of legacy HDMI sources may not work properly with
latest HDMITV products, due to new standardadoption.
Pleasetry to set Offthe HDMI settings (DeepColor, LipSync,
RGBRange,INSTAPORTTM) (_ page61). Your legacyHDMI
source should operateproperly with this TV products.
Media Player problems
• Makesure that devicesare connectedcorrectly.
• If you connect a USBdevice with separatecable or through
USBhub, the TV does not recognizethe USBdevice.
