Installation
Notes:
• Make sure all devices you are connecting to are powered o prior to installation.
• 2.0 channel audio is supported regardless of the source device. The source
device must support 5.1 channel surround sound via the SPIDIF port for the
audio to work properly. The Auto setting bypasses any audio format that the
source device supports.
• If the source outputs 2.0 channel audio, the audio can output from either the
stereo or SPDIF port. If the source outputs 5.1 channel audio, the audio only
outputs from SPDIF port.
1. Optional: Mount the unit to a wall or other surface using the included
mounting hardware.
2. Using an HDMI audio/video cable, connect the HDMI source to the
HDMI input port on the unit.
3. Using a second HDMI audio/video cable, connect an HDMI monitor to
the HDMI output port on the unit.
4. Connect the unit to a set of speakers, an audio receiver or other audio
system using the 3.5 mm stereo, TOSLINK or RCA digital outputs.
5. Connect the included external power supply to the unit and plug it
into a Tripp Lite Surge Protector, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) or
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). The unit’s red Power LED will
illuminate to indicate it is receiving power.
6. Turn on the power to the connected devices. The red Power LED will
change to purple to indicate the unit is transmitting video and audio from
the source to the display and sound system.
7. Using the switch next to the HDMI input port, toggle between 5.1
channel surround sound, 2-channel stereo and Auto setting.

Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of
initial purchase. Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective
products. To obtain service under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from Tripp Lite
or an authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center with
transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and
place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication
or has been altered or modied in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, Tripp Lite MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not permit
limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the
purchaser.

Instalación
Notas:

• El audio de 2.0 canales es compatible sin importar el dispositivo fuente. El

Installation
Remarques :
• S'assurer que tous les appareils à être raccordés sont hors tension avant
l'installation.
• L'audio du canal 2.0 est pris en charge, quel que soit l'appareil source. L'appareil
source doit prendre en charge le système ambiophonique de 5,1 canaux via
le port SPIDIF pour que l'audio fonctionne correctement. Le paramètre Auto
(automatique) contourne le format audio pris en charge par le dispositif source.
• Si la source génère de l'audio à 2,0 canaux, l'audio peut être généré depuis le
port stéréo ou SPDIF. Si la source génère de l'audio à 5,1 canaux, l'audio génère

1. Optionnel : Monter l'appareil sur un mur ou une autre surface en

6. Mettre les appareils connectés sous tension. Le voyant à DEL Power
(tension) rouge deviendra violet pour indiquer que l'appareil transmet
de la vidéo et de l'audio depuis la source vers l'écran et la chaîne
audiophonique.
7. En utilisant le commutateur à côté du port d'entrée HDMI, passer du
stéréo à 2 canaux au système ambiophonique à 5,1 canaux et au
réglage Auto (automatique).

Установка
Примечания:
• Перед установкой все подключаемые устройства должны быть обесточены.
• Поддержка 2-канального аудиосигнала осуществляется независимо от устройства-источника. Для
надлежащего функционирования аудиосигнала устройство-источник должно поддерживать аудиосигнал
объемного звучания 5.1 через порт SPIDIF. Режим "Авто" обходит любой аудиоформат, поддерживаемый
устройством-источником.
• Если источник выводит 2-канальный аудиосигнал, то вывод аудио может производиться либо через
стереопорт, либо через порт SPDIF. Если устройство-источник выводит аудиосигнал 5.1, то вывод аудио
производится только через порт SPDIF.
1. Опционально- Прикрепите модуль к стене или другой поверхности с помощью монтажной
оснастки, поставляемой в комплекте.
2. Подключите источник HDMI-сигнала ко входному порту HDMI устройства при помощи одного из
аудио-/видеокабелей HDMI.
3. С помощью другого аудио-/видеокабеля HDMI подключите HDMI-монитор к выходному порту
HDMI устройства.
4. Подключите устройство к колонкам, аудиоприемнику или другой аудиосистеме через выходные
разъемы 3,5 мм (для стереосистем), TOSLINK или RCA (для цифровых аудиосистем).
5. Подключите поставляемый в комплекте внешний блок питания к устройству и включите его в
розетку сетевого фильтра, блока распределения питания (PDU) или источника бесперебойного
питания (ИБП) Tripp Lite. Наличие питания устройства отображается светодиодным индикатором
"Power" ("Питание") красного цвета.
6. Подайте питание на подключенные устройства. Изменение красного цвета светодиодного
индикатора "Power" ("Питание") на фиолетовый указывает на то, что устройство передает видео-
и аудиосигналы от источника на дисплей и аудиосистему.
7. Переключение между 5.1-канальной системой объемного звучания, 2-канальной системой
стереозвука и режимом "Авто" производится нажатием кнопки, расположенной рядом с портом
HDMI.

Installation
Hinweise:
• Stellen Sie vor der Installation sicher, dass alle Geräte, die Sie anschließen
möchten, ausgeschaltet sind.
• 2.0-Kanal-Audio wird unabhängig vom Quellgerät unterstützt. Das Quellgerät
muss 5.1-Kanal-Surround-Sound über den SPIDIF-Anschluss unterstützen, damit
das Audio ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Die automatische Einstellung leitet jedes
Audioformat um, das vom Quellgerät unterstützt wird.
• Wenn die Quelle 2.0-Kanal-Audio ausgibt, kann die Audioausgabe entweder über
den Stereo- oder SPDIF-Anschluss erfolgen. Wenn die Quelle 5.1-Kanal-Audio
ausgibt, erfolgt die Audioausgabe nur über den SPDIF-Anschluss.
1. Optional: Befestigen Sie das Gerät mit den im Lieferumfang
enthaltenen Montageteilen an einer Wand oder einer anderen
Oberäche.
2. Schließen Sie die HDMI-Quelle mit einem HDMI-Audio-/Videokabel an
den HDMI-Eingangsanschluss des Geräts an.
3. Schließen Sie einen HDMI-Monitor mit einem zweiten HDMI-Audio-/
Videokabel an den HDMI-Ausgangsanschluss des Geräts an.
4. Schließen Sie das Gerät über die 3,5-mm-Stereo-, TOSLINK- oder
RCA-Digitalausgänge an Lautsprecher, einen Audioempfänger oder ein
anderes Audiosystem an.
5. Schließen Sie das im Lieferumfang enthaltene, externe Netzteil an
das Gerät an und stecken Sie es in einen Überspannungsschutz,
eine Stromverteilungseinheit (PDU) oder eine unterbrechungsfreie
Stromversorgung (USV) von Tripp Lite ein. Die rote Power-LED des
Geräts leuchtet, um anzuzeigen, dass es mit Strom versorgt wird.
6. Schalten Sie die angeschlossenen Geräte ein. Die rote Power-LED
wechselt in Lila, um anzuzeigen, dass das Gerät Video und Audio von
der Quelle an das Display und das Soundsystem überträgt.
7. Schalten Sie mit dem Switch neben dem HDMI-Eingang Anschluss
zwischen 5.1-Kanal-Surround-Sound, 2-Kanal-Stereo und der
automatischen Einstellung um.
