The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned
after each use.
W Risk of electric shock!
Disconnect the mains cable from the
socket prior to cleaning.
Never manually move the pressing
cone/drive shaft.
Never immerse the motor unit in liquid
and do not clean in the dishwasher.
W Risk of injury!
The glass carafe is not heat-resistant.
Do not pour in any hot liquids.
Caution!
Do not use any cleaning agents
containing alcohol or spirits.
Do not use any sharp, pointed or metal
objects.
Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning
agents.
Before cleaning:
1. Remove the motor unit from the glass
carafe.
2. Remove the pressing cone, the filter
insert and the collecting tray.
Motor unit
Wipe down the motor unit with a soft, damp
cloth and dry off.
Accessories
Clean the individual parts with a detergent
solution and a soft cloth or sponge.
Note: The glass carafe, lid, saucer, collect-
ing tray, filter insert, both pressing cones
and the cover can also be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
Storage

Prior to storage, always clean the appliance
and allow all parts to dry. X “Care and daily
cleaning” see page 12
1. Fully assemble the citrus press and
position on the glass carafe.
2. Replace the cover.
4. To switch off the appliance, reduce the
pressure on the pressing cone. The
citrus press switches off automatically.
5. Disconnect the mains cable from the
socket.
6. Remove the citrus press from the glass
carafe.
The discharge valve closes automatically
once the citrus press is removed from the
glass carafe.
7. For the purpose of storage, for example
in the refrigerator, seal the glass carafe
with the lid.
8. To pour out the juice, remove the lid.
Using the citrus press without
the glass carafe

Use the citrus press without the glass
carafe in order to press smaller quantities of
juice, such as lemon juice for use in baking
or for seasoning fish.
Caution!
The juice is collected in the collecting tray.
The volume capacity of the collecting tray is
approx. 100 ml. This corresponds approx-
imately to the juice from 2 medium-sized
lemons. End the pressing procedure before
the juice reaches the top edge of the col-
lecting tray.
1. Position the prepared citrus press on a
stable and level work surface.
2. Connect the mains cable to the socket.
3. Press the citrus fruits as described.

4. Disconnect the mains cable from the
socket.
5. Use the juice directly via the spout or
pour into a container.
