Read All Instructions Before Using
Be sure to read and understand the entire user manual before attempting to install or operate this
water heater. Pay particular attention to the Safety Instructions. Failure to follow these warnings could
result in serious bodily injury or death. Should you have problems understanding the instructions in
this manual, or have any questions, STOP, and get help from a qualified service technician or the
local gas utility provider.

Do not leave unattended.
The exhaust gas and top of the portable tankless water heater is HOT! Do not place hands or any
object near the top of the heater.
This water heater is only intended for use with non-potable water (such as a portable shower). Do
not connect to potable water. There are health risks and/or consequences if it is used for heating
water for human consumption.
This water heater is for point of use (dishwashing, washing, showering, etc)temporary water
heating and not for connection to a permanent inlet water connection or for a water distribution
system to supply multiple outlets. Not suitable for drinking and cooking. Do not use in high wind
conditions
If the smell of gas is detected, turn off the gas valve at the cylinder immediately! Do not use flame
for leak detection.
Use only Propane gas with this heater.
Use only outdoors.
The minimum environmental temperature for safe storage and operation of the water heater must
be above 33°F, if not, may cause water heater damage and dangerous conditions.
Installation:
Do not Install water heater where flammable products will be stored or used unless the main
burner flame Is at least 18" above the floor. This will reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of vapors
being ignited by the main burner flame.

Properly install water heater

Failure to properly install the water heater outdoors as outlined in the Installation Instructions in
this manual can result in unsafe operation of the water heater.
To avoid the risk of fire, explosion, or asphyxiation from carbon monoxide, never operate this
water heater unless it is installed properly and has an adequate air supply for proper operation.
Be sure to inspect the flue terminal for proper installation at initial start-up and at least annually
thereafter. Refer to the Care and Cleaning section of this manual for more information regarding
flue terminal inspection.
Liquefied petroleum gas models
Gas detectors are recommended in propane gas applications and their installation should be in
accordance with the detector manufacturer's recommendations and/or local laws, rules,
regulations or customs.
To avoid possible equipment damage, personal injury, or fire, do not connect the water heater to
a fuel type not in accordance with the portable tankless water heater data plate. These portable
tankless water heaters are only for propane gas, not certified for any other fuel type.
Propane appliances should not be installed in an unventilated place (for example, in a basement)
if such installation is prohibited by federal, state and/or local laws, rules, regulations or customs.
Propane gas must be used with great caution. It is heavier than air and will collect first in lower
areas making it hard to detect at nose level.
Before attempting to light the water heater, make sure to look and smell for gas leaks. Use a
soapy solution to check all gas fittings and connections. Bubbling at a connection indicates a leak
that must be corrected.
It is recommended that more than one method, such as soapy solution, gas detectors, etc., be
used to detect leaks in gas applications.
Gasoline, as well as other flammable materials and liquids (adhesives, solvents, paint thinners
etc.), and the vapors they produce are extremely dangerous. DO NOT handle, use or store
gasoline or other flammable or combustible materials any where near or in the vicinity of a water
heater or any other appliance.
Notice: If a gas leak is present or suspected:
DO NOT attempt to find the cause yourself.
DO NOT try to light the water heater.
DO NOT touch any electrical switch.

Preparation
ONLY USE IN OUTDOOR AREAS. CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD-USING THIS APPLIANCE IN
AN ENCLOSED SPACE WILL CAUSE DEATH-DO NOT USE IN CARAVANS, TENTS, MARINE
CRAFT, CARS, MOBILE HOMES OR SIMILAR LOCATIONS.
1. Use appliance only with LP (propane) gas and the regulator valve assembly supplied.
Note:
LP gas supply cylinders to be used must be:
2. Reinforcement of the wall is required where the unit is installed so the wall will be strong enough
to hold the water heater. The mounting location for the water heater should allow for easy access
and operation.
3. Take the appliance out from the carton box and remove the foam and plastic bag, position the
upper mounting bracket and partially install the center mounting screw. Hang the upper bracket
on the screw or hang it by handle for temporary fixed.
Constructed and marked in accordance with the specifications for LP gas cylinders of the Tubes
for Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Commission, CAN/CSA-B339, as applicable.
Provided with a listed overfilling prevention device.
Provided with a cylinder connection device compatible with the connection Installation must
conform with local codes or in the absence with National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54,
or the Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1, or the Propane Storage and Handling Code, CSA
B149.2.
Wall Mount:
Note: Keep this appliance away from all combustible material. Minmum clearances rear at 20 inch,
two sides at 40 inch, top at 40 inch.
Measure all distances to ensure the proper position, mark the position of 3 pilot holes (1 mounting
hole for the top mounting hook; 2 pilot holes for the bottom hook)
Use a hammer drill to drill those three holes. Always use eye and ear protection when using a
hammer drill.
Insert the sleeve anchor into the mounting hole and two expansion bolts into the bottom two
holes. Fix the sleeve anchor bolt and two expansion bolts with a hammer
Hang and attach the water heater through the sleeve anchor
Use a wrench to turn the nut until snug. This will pull the stud up through the sleeve expanding it
against the wall of the base material
Screw down two 4*30 screws into the bottom two pilot holes to fix the water heater in place.

4. Install 2 size D batteries (NOT included) in the battery box on the bottom of the appliance. Make
sure the batteries are facing the correct direction.
Water Supply Installation
1. Before attaching the water line to the water heater, run the water until it has purged all
contaminants (sand, debris, air, caulking, etc).
2. Water inlet :
A. Screw the tap connector onto the gas water heater water inlet.
B. Insert the hose into the end of the connector.
C. Slide the nut onto the end of the hose and tighten.
D. Push the hose end connector into the tap connector.
E. To disconnect, hold the soft touch pads and pull the connector
downwards.
NOTICE: MAKE SURE TO PUT THE RUBBER GASKET IN ALL FITTINGS BEFORE
CONNECTION.
If using a standard garden hose, attach the 3/4” GHT garden hose adapter to the fitting marked
“Water Inlet”. Check to make sure the filter inside the water inlet is in place and clean. Then
attach your water inlet/garden hose.

Gas Connecting
WARNING: Never use an open flame to test for gas leaks, because death, personal injury
and/or property damage can result. The water heater and its gas connections MUST be leak
tested at normal operating pressures before the uint is placed in operation.
1. Use shifting wrenches to attach supplied gas regulator (with brass connector already attached) to
the appliance and connect to the bottom of the appliance marked “Gas inlet”. Do not over tighten.
Over tightening may causing a gas leak! Ensure that you use supplied washers on all connectors
and check for any gas smell. Please connect with torque force between 20-28N/m.
2. Please always use the cylinder at an upright position for vapor withdrawal. Connect the certified
gas regulator with LP gas supply cylinder by hand. Connect the regulator hose to the heater gas
inlet fitting by wrench.

3. Water outlet :
Attach the water output device (shower head) to the fitting marked “Water outlet”. DO NOT OVER
TIGHTEN! Tighten by hand only. (The shower hose already comes with gaskets inside, extra
gaskets are available as a spare.)

USE AND STARTING
Note:
This appliance shall only be connected to a 20lb (Size 1: φ12 5/16 *H17 5/16;
Size 2: φ11 13/16 *H17 7/16;) cylinder with a POL cylinder valve certified to
CAN/CSA-B339. The LP-gas cylinder(s) must be constructed and marked in accordance with the
specifications for Cylinders, Spheres, and Tubes for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods,
CSA B339.
Please inspect the hose before each use of the appliance. If it is evident there is excessive
abrasion or wear, or the hose is cut, it must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into
operation. The replacement hose assembly shall be that specified by the manufacturer.
Check: Turn on the gas shut-off valve to the water heater. Use a soapy water solution to test for
leaks at all the connections and fittings. If bubbles are seen, it indicates a gas leak that must be
corrected and contact a qualified service technician.
The gas must be turned off at the LP gas supply cylinder when the water heater is not in use.
When the LP-gas supply cylinder is not disconnected from the water heater, the water heater and
cylinder must be stored outdoors, in a well ventilated space, out of the reach of children, and
must not be stored in a building, garage or any other enclosed area.
Storage of the water heater indoors is permissible only if the cylinder is disconnected and
removed from the water heater.
Cylinders must be stored outdoors, in a well ventilated space, out of the reach of children, and
must not be stored in a building, garage or any other enclosed area.
Do not store a spare LP gas cylinder under or near this appliance. Never fill the cylinder beyond
80 percent full. If not followed exactly, it may lead to a fire.
Check around the area for flammables, especially gasoline, or other vapors which may ignite. The
exhaust and top of the portable tankless water heater will get HOT! Make sure there are no foreign
objects around the portable tankless water heater or have fallen into the top.
WARNING: The water heater must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting.
1. Turn on incoming water supply. Ensure that you have abundant water pressure between 2.2-116
PSI/15-800 kPa for ideal operation.
2. Turn your water output device to its “off ” position.
3. Turn the gas valve on the cylinder all the way open.
4. IF THE SMELL OF GAS IS DETECTED, TURN OFF THE GAS VALVE IMMEDIATELY!!
5. Set the burner power switch knob to position. (In winter this knob can be switched to

8. Turn your water output device to the “on” position and adjust to the desired water flow.
9. There will be a series of audible clicks and the burner will ignite. Please take note the water heater
must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting. Should the burner not ignite
after 5 seconds, shut off and go to the “Troubleshooting” section.
10. Upon completion of use or storage, open the drain valve (ribbed cylindrical stem next to the
water inlet valve) to ensure draining of water.
11. Please turn off the gas supply when not in use.
Before Operate The Drain Plug, Must be
1. Ensure that the water heater is disconnected from the water supply (turn off cold water inlet
switch).
2. Turn the shower switch to “ON”.
3. Ensure that the shower hose is disconnected from the water heater.
To drain the residual water totally,

Water Temperature Adjusting
The temperature of the outgoing water is dependent on the temperature of the incoming water
balanced with the amount of heat applied. Use extreme caution in setting the outlet water
temperature.
Please Protect Your Water Heater From Freeze Damage!
WARNING: If the outside temperature is around or below freezing (32 °F/0°F), ensure that the
drain plug is opened and water drained from the portable tankless water heater after each
use to avoid internal damage to the heat exchanger. You will also need to unhook the
outgoing water line to ensure that any water in the heat exchanger is drained. Failure to
properly drain your portable tankless water heater will cause water damage which may or
may not be repairable.
1. The water flow knob in position max and the gas knob in position
min is the lowest temperature setting available.
2. To raise the water temperature, adjust the gas knob up (toward
max);
3. After step 2, if you still need water temperature higher, adjust
the flow rate knob down(toward min) until you have the desired
temperature.
4. The middle knob is for adjusting the amount of propane burned per unit time.
When the initial water is too hot in summer, you could turn it to the position.
One burner work to lower the temperature and save propane. When the initial
water is too cold in winter, you could turn it to the position so all of the
burners will work to raise the temperature.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Properly maintained your water heater will provide years of dependable trouble-free service. It is
recommended that a periodic inspection of the burner, water filter and top exhaust should be made
by service personnel qualified in gas appliances.
1. It is suggested that a routine preventive maintenance program be established and followed by the
user.
2.* It is recommended to do maintenance once a year.
3. Inspect the area around the water heater to ensure a safe operating environment.
Keep water heater area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable
vapors and liquids. Do not obstructing the flow of combustion and ventilation air. Ensure the unit
has not been damaged. If damage or denting is present, contact a service personnel to verify
proper operation.
4. Check for any abnormal sounds during normal operation of the water heater.
5. Check the burner flames through the visible flame window to make sure the combustion is normal
during operation of the water heater.

6. All piping should be checked for gas and/or water leaks.
The air intake and cold water supply filters should be cleaned monthly. For clean panel surface,
dust off and use kitchen cleaner to clean when you feel it is dirty.
7. DO NOT operate the water heater if you feel something is wrong with the unit.
8. DO NOT allow children to operate or otherwise handle the unit.

Before disconnecting the water supply, make certain no one will be exposed to the danger of the hot
water released by disconnecting.
The water may be hot enough to create a scald hazard. The water should be released into a suitable
drain to prevent injury or property damage.
Hotter water increases the potential for hot water scalds.
Failure to perform the recommended routine preventative maintenance can harm the proper
operation of this water heater, which can cause carbon monoxide dangers, excessive hot water
temperatures and other potentially hazardous conditions.
