Check fuse in mains plug and
replace fuse if necessary.
Loose connection in switch

Check connection within the
switch box on the handle bars.

Lawnmower does not cut
grass cleanly / or motor
labours.
Cutting blade is blunt. Turn lawn mower upside down
to check blade edge
connection - If blunt, take to a
specialist to sharpen or
replace blade.
Cutting height is incorrect Adjust cutting height to suit
grass length.
Possible clogging underneath. Turn lawnmower upside down
to check for built up grass
clippings around the blade and
grass discharge chute.
Blade fitted upside down. Remove and refit blade
correctly.
Excessive noise / vibration. Blade nut / bolt loose. Turn lawnmower upside down
and tighten nut / bolt.
Blade damaged / bent. Check blade condition -
Replace if necessary.
