• Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose fixings,
and worn or damaged components.
• Ensure that the guard and protective devices are
undamaged and properly mounted. Before using, carry
out any necessary maintenance or repairs.
• If the garden product should happen to fail, repairs should
always be carried out by an authorized customer service
agent for garden products.
9.1 BLADE MAINTENANCE
• Always clean and lubricate the blades after use.
• During longer cutting jobs, we recommend periodically
lubricating the cutting blade.
• Visually check the condition of the blades cutting edges.
• Ensure that the cutting blade is stored with the blade
guard supplied when not in use.

1. Press the blade assembly release button.
2. Lift the blade assembly away from the housing.
9.3 STORE THE MACHINE
WARNING
Switch off before adjusting or cleaning. The blades continue
to move for a few seconds after the garden product is
switched off.

• Clean the exterior of the device thoroughly using a soft
brush and cloth. Do not use water, solvents or polishes.
Remove all debris.
• Carry the device by the handle with the cutter blade
stopped. When transporting or storing the hedge trimmer
blade always fit the cutting device cover.
• Store the device in a secure, dry place out of the reach of
children. Do not place other objects on top of the device.
