new tool within 21 days of the date of purchase to activate the two-year warranty.

1. NOTE: This item has been built to U.S. electronics specifications and may need an
adaptor to be used in countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
2. For flat irons and curling irons, When the LED light remains constant, the optimal
temperature has been achieved and the iron is ready for use.
3. Auto Shut-Off — if your curling or flat has not been used for 30 minutes, the
heaters turn off and the iron will cool down. However, it remains connected to the
power supply and is not actually switched off. To
reactivate the iron, simply reset using the ON/OFF switch.
4. Do not use if plug is loose in the outlet as there may be risk of fire, electric shock,
electrical shortage or burning.
5. Do not use this appliance near water in bathtubs, basins, or any other vessel.
6. Always turn the tool off and disconnect from the power supply when not in use.
FAILURE TO OPERATE
• To check that the tool is operating correctly, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position and then check to see that the power supply is present. If so, slide the
ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
• If your home has a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), check the circuit by
pushing the test button and then the reset button.
• If in doubt, consult an electrician or the retailer where you purchased the tool. Or

ALCI Safety Device
CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME YOU USE DRYER.
This hairbrush is provided with an Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), this
safety feature that renders the tool inoperable under some abnormal conditions, such
as accidental immersion in water.
To make sure the ALCI is functioning properly, and the exclusive water sensing system
is working, perform the following test:
1. Plug in the brush and press the test button on plug.
2. Brush will stop functioning. There will be an audible click and the reset button will
pop out.
3. To reset: ALCI with a reset button: Unplug unit. Then push reset button in, then
reinsert into outlet.
4. Be sure to repeat test every time you use this dryer to confirm the ALCI is opera-
tional.
5. If ALCI is not functioning properly, return the dryer to nearest service center.
6. If a water immersion occurs, contact manufacturer immediately for examination
and repair.
User-Maintenance Instructions
The maintenance of hair dryer is free, no consumption or lubrication is needed. Keep
this appliance clean for proper operating. Never block or clog air intakes, otherwise
overheat will happen. The appliance has no user serviceable parts. Any other servicing
should be performed by an authorized service representative or a professional center.
Never allow the supply cord to be twisted, pulled, bent, or wrapped around the dryer.
If the cord is twisted, untwist the cord before use. When not in use, this appliance
should be stored in a safe, dry place, out of children’s reach.
PRODUCT COMPLIANCE
All electrical products from Sultra are subjected to independent compliance testing
by government and USA-approved bodies. They all comply with Household Electric
Personal Grooming Appliances.
USE
This appliance is intended solely for use as a hairstyling aid and should only be used
for this purpose. It must only be used with products specifically designed for use with
a heated hairstyling appliance.
SECURITY
To be certain that you are buying a genuine Sultra product you should only purchase
your Sultra products from an approved retailer. Please remember to keep your original
proof of purchase.
HOLOGRAMS
Unique holograms are applied to the body and power cord of Sultra appliances,
which cannot be copied. They contain registered identification codes that enable
Sultra to authenticate genuine Sultra products. If you discover that a hologram has
been defaced or removed, notify the Sultra immediately at 877.2SULTRA (278-5872)
or [email protected]. To check the authenticity of your Sultra appliances
follow the instructions in the Authentication section.
AUTHENTIFICATION
To ensure that you have purchased a genuine Sultra product, an additional security
feature on the Sultra website enables you to enter the serial number referenced on
the tool. You will receive immediate confirmation as to whether your appliance is a
genuine Sultra product. Visit sultra.com and follow the online registration instructions.
If this process does not authenticate your product, please contact Sultra Customer
PRODUCT DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL USERS
When you have no further use for your Sultra appliance, please dispose of it according
to your local authority’s recycling procedure. For more information, contact your local
authority or the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
LIMITED WARRANTY • U.S., Canada, and Mexico
Your new Sultra (“Sultra”) appliance has been manufactured too the highest quality
standards and when used in accordance with the safety and operating instructions
will provide you with effective, reliable service.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Sultra’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below. Sultra warrants
its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four
(24) months from the date of original retail purchase provided that all warranty
guidelines are met, including product registration on sultra.com. If a defect exists,
Sultra shall exchange the product with a product that is refurbished and at least the
functional equivalent to the original product (or in Sultra’s absolute discretion the
product may be repaired). A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of
the original product. When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes
your property, and the replaced item becomes Sultra’s property.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain service under the Warranty, please call Sultra Customer Service at
will be provided with return instructions and a Return Authorization Number. You will
be required to return the original product and to provide a brief written description
of the problem you are having, the original proof of purchase, your name, current
address, and telephone number. Please remember to clearly mark the Return Authori-
zation Number on the outer packaging when returning the defective product to Sultra!
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Sultra that
can be identified by the “Sultra” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Sultra product even if packaged or
sold with Sultra products. Non-Sultra manufacturers and suppliers may provide their
own warranties. This Limited Warranty does not cover: (1) damage due to misuse or
abuse (including but not limited to using the product with an incorrect voltage supply),
dropping, or other operation in violation of the written safety precautions provided
with the product; or (2) tampering, such as the unauthorized repair or attempted
repair of the product.
SULTRA LIMITED WARRANTIES ARE ONLY VALID FOR THEIR ORIGINAL END USER AND
ONLY IF BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING ARE MET: (1) THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED
FROM AN AUTHORIZED SULTRA RESELLER; AND (2) THE PRODUCT WAS REGISTERED
WITH SULTRA VIA ITS ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS AT SULTRA.COM WITHIN 21
DAYS OF ITS ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE.
SULTRA WARRANTIES ARE VOID: (1) IF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT SERIAL NUMBERS
HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH; (2) THE PRODUCT WAS USED

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND
IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL
OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED. SULTRA SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF

CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME YOU USE DRYER.
This hairbrush is provided with an Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), this
safety feature that renders the tool inoperable under some abnormal conditions, such
as accidental immersion in water.
To make sure the ALCI is functioning properly, and the exclusive water sensing system
is working, perform the following test:
1. Plug in the brush and press the test button on plug.
2. Brush will stop functioning. There will be an audible click and the reset button will
pop out.
3. To reset: ALCI with a reset button: Unplug unit. Then push reset button in, then
reinsert into outlet.
4. Be sure to repeat test every time you use this dryer to confirm the ALCI is opera-
tional.
5. If ALCI is not functioning properly, return the dryer to nearest service center.
6. If a water immersion occurs, contact manufacturer immediately for examination
and repair.
User-Maintenance Instructions
The maintenance of hair dryer is free, no consumption or lubrication is needed. Keep
this appliance clean for proper operating. Never block or clog air intakes, otherwise
overheat will happen. The appliance has no user serviceable parts. Any other servicing
should be performed by an authorized service representative or a professional center.
Never allow the supply cord to be twisted, pulled, bent, or wrapped around the dryer.
If the cord is twisted, untwist the cord before use. When not in use, this appliance
should be stored in a safe, dry place, out of children’s reach.
PRODUCT COMPLIANCE
All electrical products from Sultra are subjected to independent compliance testing
by government and USA-approved bodies. They all comply with Household Electric
Personal Grooming Appliances.
USE
This appliance is intended solely for use as a hairstyling aid and should only be used
for this purpose. It must only be used with products specifically designed for use with
a heated hairstyling appliance.
SECURITY

HOLOGRAMS
Unique holograms are applied to the body and power cord of Sultra appliances,
which cannot be copied. They contain registered identification codes that enable

Your new Sultra (“Sultra”) appliance has been manufactured too the highest quality
standards and when used in accordance with the safety and operating instructions
will provide you with effective, reliable service.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Sultra’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below. Sultra warrants
its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four
(24) months from the date of original retail purchase provided that all warranty
guidelines are met, including product registration on sultra.com. If a defect exists,
Sultra shall exchange the product with a product that is refurbished and at least the
functional equivalent to the original product (or in Sultra’s absolute discretion the
product may be repaired). A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of
the original product. When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes
your property, and the replaced item becomes Sultra’s property.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain service under the Warranty, please call Sultra Customer Service at

will be provided with return instructions and a Return Authorization Number. You will
be required to return the original product and to provide a brief written description
of the problem you are having, the original proof of purchase, your name, current
address, and telephone number. Please remember to clearly mark the Return Authori-
zation Number on the outer packaging when returning the defective product to Sultra!
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Sultra that
can be identified by the “Sultra” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Sultra product even if packaged or
sold with Sultra products. Non-Sultra manufacturers and suppliers may provide their
own warranties. This Limited Warranty does not cover: (1) damage due to misuse or
abuse (including but not limited to using the product with an incorrect voltage supply),

Interrupteur de fuite intégré (IFI)
VÉRIFIEZ L’IFI CHAQUE FOIS QUE VOUS UTILISEZ LE SÈCHE-CHEVEUX.
Cet appareil est muni d’un interrupteur de fuite intégré (IFI), un dispositif de sécurité
qui rend l’appareil inopérant dans certaines conditions anormales, notamment en cas
d’immersion accidentelle dans l’eau.
Pour vous assurer que l’IFI fonctionne correctement et que le système exclusif de
détection d’eau fonctionne, effectuez le test suivant:
1. Branchez l’appareil et enfoncez le bouton de test sur la fiche de connexion.
2. L’appareil devrait s’arrêter. Vous devriez entendre un clic et voir sortir le bouton de

COPERTURA DELLA GARANZIA
Gli obblighi relativi alla garanzia Sultra sono limitati ai termini indicati qui di seguito.
Sultra garantisce i propri prodotti contro difetti di materiale e di manodopera per
un periodo di ventiquattro (24) mesi dalla data di acquisto, a condizione che siano
rispettate tutte le linee guida della garanzia, compresa la registrazione del prodotto
su sultra.com.
In caso di difetti Sultra sostituirà il prodotto con un prodotto ricondizionato o almeno
l’equivalente funzionante del prodotto originale (o, ad assoluta discrezione di Sultra,
il prodotto può essere riparato). Il prodotto sostitutivo ritiene la garanzia residua del
prodotto originale. Quando un prodotto viene sostituito, qualsiasi articolo sostitutivo
diventerà di tua proprietà e l’articolo sostituito diventerà proprietà di Sultra.

Per richiedere l’assistenza in garanzia, contatta il Servizio Clienti Sultra al numero
877.2SULTRA (278-5872) (o invia un’e-mail all’indirizzo customerservice@sultra.
com): ti verranno fornite le istruzioni per il reso e il relativo codice di autorizzazione.
Dovrai restituire il prodotto originale e fornire una breve descrizione scritta del
problema riscontrato, la prova d’acquisto originale, il tuo nome, indirizzo e numero
di telefono. Non dimenticare di scrivere chiaramente il codice di autorizzazione per il
reso sull’imballaggio esterno quando restituisci il prodotto difettoso a Sultra.
ESCLUSIONI E LIMITAZIONI
La presente Garanzia limitata si applica solo ai prodotti fabbricati da o per conto di
Sultra e che possono essere identificati dal marchio, dal nome commerciale o dal logo
“Sultra”. La Garanzia Limitata non si applica ad alcun prodotto non a marchio Sultra,
anche se confezionato o venduto con prodotti Sultra. I produttori e i fornitori non
Sultra possono fornire le rispettive garanzie. La presente Garanzia Limitata non copre:
(1) danni dovuti a uso improprio o abuso (incluso, in via esemplificativa, l’uso del
prodotto con un voltaggio non corretto), cadute o altre operazioni che violano le norme
di sicurezza scritte fornite con il prodotto; (2) manomissioni, ad esempio la riparazione
non autorizzata o il tentativo di riparazione del prodotto.
LE GARANZIE LIMITATE SULTRA SONO VALIDE SOLO PER L’ORIGINALE UTENTE
FINALE E SOLO SE ENTRAMBE LE SEGUENTI CONDIZIONI SONO SODDISFATTE: (1) IL
PRODOTTO È STATO ACQUISTATO PRESSO UN RIVENDITORE AUTORIZZATO SULTRA;
(2) IL PRODOTTO È STATO REGISTRATO PRESSO SULTRA TRAMITE LA PROCEDURA DI
REGISTRAZIONE ONLINE SU SULTRA.COM ENTRO 21 GIORNI DALL’ACQUISTO.

essere applicabili all’utente. La presente Garanzia offre all’utente diritti legali specifici,

L’apparecchio è dotato di spina polarizzata (un polo è più largo dell’altro). Per
sicurezza la spina può essere inserita in una presa polarizzata solo in un senso. Se
la spina non entra completamente nella presa, invertire la spina. Se ancora non si
inserisce, contattare un elettricista qualificato. Non provare a disattivare il dispositivo
di sicurezza.

Dispositivo di sicurezza ALCI
CONTROLLARE LE FUNZIONE DI SICUREZZA ALCI OGNI VOLTA CHE SI USA
L’ASCIUGACAPELLI.
Questo apparecchio è dotato di funzione di sicurezza ALCI (Appliance Leakage Circuit
Interrupter), che lo rende inutilizzabile in determinate condizioni anomale, come
l’immersione accidentale in acqua.
Per assicurarsi che l’ALCI funzioni correttamente e che l’esclusivo sistema di rileva-
mento dell’acqua funzioni, eseguire quanto segue:
1. Inserire la spazzola e premere il pulsante “Test” sulla spina.
2. La spazzola smetterà di funzionare. Si sentirà un “clic” e il pulsante “Reset”
scatterà verso l’esterno.
3. Per reimpostare l’ALCI con il pulsante “Reset”: Scollegare l’apparecchio. Spingere
in dentro il pulsante “Reset”, quindi reinserirlo nella presa.
4. Ripetere il test ogni volta che si usa l’asciugacapelli per assicurarsi che l’ALCI
funzioni correttamente.
5. Se l’ALCI non funziona correttamente, portare l’asciugacapelli al centro di assis-
tenza più vicino.
6. In caso di immersione in acqua, contattare immediatamente il produttore per una
verifica e l’eventuale riparazione.
Istruzioni per la manutenzione
La manutenzione dell’asciugacapelli è semplice e non prevede alcuna lubrificazione.
Mantenere l’apparecchio pulito per il corretto funzionamento. Non bloccare o ostruire
mai le prese d’aria per evitare il surriscaldamento. L’apparecchio non ha parti che
possono essere riparate dall’utente. Qualsiasi altro tipo di manutenzione deve essere
eseguita da un tecnico del servizio di assistenza autorizzato o da un centro profes-
sionale. Evitare sempre che il cavo di alimentazione sia attorcigliato, tirato, piegato o
avvolto intorno all’asciugacapelli. Se il cavo è attorcigliato, srotolarlo prima dell’uso.
Quando non è in uso, l’apparecchio deve essere conservato in un luogo sicuro e
asciutto, fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
USO
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso come ausilio per acconciature e deve
essere utilizzato solo in tal senso. Deve essere utilizzato solo con prodotti realizzati
appositamente per l’uso con un prodotto per acconciature riscaldato.
SICUREZZA
Per essere sicuri di acquistare un prodotto Sultra originale, acquistare i prodotti Sultra
solo presso rivenditori autorizzati. Non dimenticare di conservare la prova d’acquisto
originale.
OLOGRAMMI
Sul telaio e sul cavo di alimentazione dei prodotti Sultra sono presenti ologrammi
che non possono essere copiati. Contengono codici di identificazione registrati, che
consentono a Sultra di autenticare i suoi prodotti. Se un ologramma appare modificato
o rimosso, contattare immediatamente Sultra al numero 877.2SULTRA (278-5872)
o all’indirizzo [email protected]. Per verificare l’autenticità del prodotto
Sultra, seguire le istruzioni nella sezione Autenticazione.
AUTENTICAZIONE
Per essere sicuri di aver acquistato un prodotto Sultra originale, un’ulteriore funzione di
sicurezza sul sito web di Sultra consente di inserire il numero di serie impresso sul prodotto.
Riceverai immediatamente la conferma che il prodotto è un articolo Sultra originale o
meno. Vai su sultra.com e segui le istruzioni per la registrazione online. Se la procedura non

Quando non si avrà più bisogno dell prodotto Sultra, invitiamo a smaltirlo secondo le
norme previste dalle autorità locali. Per ulteriori informazioni contattare le autorità
locali o il rivenditore presso il quale è stato acquistato il prodotto.
GARANZIA LIMITATA • Stati Uniti, Canada e Messico
Il tuo nuovo prodotto Sultra (“Sultra”) è stato realizzato secondo i più elevati standard
di qualità e, se utilizzato secondo le istruzioni di sicurezza e funzionamento, otterrai
un servizio efficace e affidabile.
COPERTURA DELLA GARANZIA
