1. Place the tripod's mounting screw into the appropriate
screw thread on the base of thelight and screw the
tripod to the light.

Carrying the Area Light (Fig. A)
Carry the area light using one or two of the four side
handles

. Never use the side handles to attach the light to
anything. Refer to Suspending/Mounting the Area Light.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal

before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An

Installing and Removing the Battery Pack

nOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is

1. To install the battery pack

slide it in until the battery pack is firmly seated and
latched. Ensure that it does not disengage, then close
thedoor.
2. To remove the battery pack from the area light, press
the battery release button

firmly pull the battery pack out.

• Follow the instructions in the app to create your Tool
Connect™account.
• Connect your area light with the
DeWALT
Tool
Connect™ app first by pressing the Tool Connect™
button

blink. Then go to the Home screen of the app and select
"+ Tool." The area light can only be connected to one
Tool Connect™ account at atime.
• Once the connection is established, you will be
prompted to give the product an individual name
as well as confirm that you would like to register the
product on your
DeWALT
.comaccount.
CAUTION: When using the scheduler, ensure
the illuminated area is free of personnel before a
scheduled turnoff.
