Descaling Your Carafe:
WARNING: Always unplug the product before any cleaning. Dry all parts after every

Descaling is the removal of mineral deposits from glass and stainless steel. All water
contains minerals including purified and filtered water. After your carafe’s first use
you may see the first signs of deposits which may be white to reddish brown in color.
These stains are not rust nor are they toxic.
Note: Reheating coffee in your carafe may discolor or stain the surface of the carafe.
