POWER
CORD
1. Plug in power cord, unit will beep to indicate power.
2. ON/OFF button
▪ Press to turn on unit.
▪ Indicator light under Power Level travels back and forth.
▪ Press again to turn unit off. Note: Fan will continue to run
until unit is cooled down.
3. Press either - or + and Power Level indicator will stop in the
middle. Press - or + again to set desired power level.
4. Smart-Fry function
▪ This innovative function detects the type of cookware used
and heats to the optimal temperature for pan-fry or searing
(steak, pork chop, fish, etc).
▪ Flashing indicator light means unit is pre-heating.
▪ When the indicator light stops flashing, temperature has
been reached and food can be added to start cooking.
▪ Smart-Fry senses temperature changes within the cookware.
If food is added or removed, unit will adjust accordingly to
maintain that optimal temperature. User can cook (multiple
steaks, for example) continuously without worring about the
pan getting too hot.
Actual cooking time and when to flip depends on how well to
cook the food.
▪ Under Smart-Fry function, other buttons are non-responsive,
except ON/OFF button.
▪ Cookware must have a flat bottom that comes in complete
contact with the induction.
▪ For pan-fry/searing, best to use cast iron cookware with a
minimum 4mm thickness.
▪ If cookware is removed for more than 5 seconds or unit is turned
off, will need to wait until unit cools off before using the Smart-
Fry function again.
