#1 How long will the battery last? Can the battery be replaced?

The battery life of this wifi thermometer is about 6 months. You could replace 3 AA batteries for it.

#2 How to set the alert range?

Please be within the Bluetooth range, tap the device on the Govee Home app tap the settings icon on the top right of the graph page set the alert range.

#3 Is the thermometer bound to a single phone/app? Or can it be shared with family?

It can be shared with family. Please connect the wifi temperature sensor to 1 Govee account, then log in with the same Govee account on multiple phones.

#4 Can this wifi thermometer be used outdoors?

Since the device is not waterproof, it's not recommended to use the wifi temperature sensor in an environment with a high humidity rate for a long time.

#5 Can this wifi thermometer be used in the freezer?

We do not recommend applying the smart thermometer to the refrigerator or freezer. The low temperature circumstance will shorten the battery life and affect the devices' connection.
