TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution
Device indicators are not lit.
The device is not plugged or is not turned
on.
Connect the power plug and press the
ON/OFF button.
The indicator on the front
panel lights in red.
The bean hopper is not installed or
installed incorrectly or the grinding is
limited to use.
Refer to the grinding note on page 14.
There are water marks
at the bottom of the
appliance.
The water tank is not installed correctly.
The drip tray is full.
Make sure that the water tank and the drip
tray are installed properly and the drip tray
is empty.
If the issue is not solved, please contact
Customer Service. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself.
A ticking sound is heard
after the appliance is
started and a hissing sound
is heard after the coffee is
dispensed.
This is normal and results from the
operation of the pressure control valve.
The grinder is running but
there is no powder comes
out.
The powder outlet channel is blocked by
coffee beans or coffee powder.
Follow the grinder cleaning process to clean
the grinding system.
Coffee powder floats out
from the portafilter.
The anti-static sensor is blocked at the
powder outlet.
Use the cleaning brush to clean the powder
oultlet.
