FLOOR MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The safe may be mounted to the floor. Be aware of the load
bearing. Failure to do so can result in personal injury and/or
damage to property. Use appropriate tools when performing work
and always use eye protection.
- Barska recommends that this safe be anchored to the floor.
- Your safe must be shimmed level to assure proper lock functions
and to keep the door from swinging open too quickly or closing
by itself.
- To avoid rust on the safe, never set the safe directly on a cement
floor. We recommend a spacer be placed between the safe and
the cement.
- Exposure to chemicals or other adverse environments may cause
the warranty to become invalid.
- The safe is designed to support itself when the doors is opened.
However caution should be used to avoid pulling it over. To
maximize security and stability, bolting the safe to the floor is
recommended.
- This safe come with a pre-drilled electrical hole, measuring 3/8"
diameter, located on the bottom right-hand side of the safe (if you
are facing the safe, it is on your right-hand side).
- Use proper drill tools depending on the type of floor you are
mounting the safe (wood, tile, or concrete).
- Measure the location of the pre-set drill holes; mark their
exact position onto the floor.
- Drill the appropriate size holes for the anchors you are using.
- Carefully press the anchor into the holes at this time.
- Mount the safe by running screws from inside of the safe and
securing to anchors; ensure the safe is mounted securely.

parts. If you experience ANY difficult opening or closing your

jam the components in the lock, which will require a safe
