Additional Search
(Split Screen Search)
You can split the screen and create upper and lower panes when
you want to search for an additional term while a defi nition or
comment screen is on the display.
You can use Dictionary Guide Information (page 35) to view the
dictionaries/modes that can be searched using this function.

While a defi nition or comment
screen is on the display, use
and to display the
term that you want to have
displayed in the upper pane
after you split the screen.
Once you split the screen, you will no longer be able to use and
keys to scroll the upper pane of the screen. Be sure to adjust the
content you want in the upper pane here before proceeding to step 2.

screen in the lower pane of the
