IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. READ all instructions. KEEP these instructions for future use.
2. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons, DO NOT immerse cord, plug, or
the Warmer Unit in water or other liquids.
4. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation.
On surfaces where heat may cause a problem, an insulated heat pad is recommended.
5. CAUTION: When removing the glass lid, always lift and tilt the lid away from you carefully to
avoid scalding and allow water to drip back into the unit.
6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
7. UNPLUG from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunc-
tions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result
in re, electric shock or injury to persons.
10. DO NOT use outdoors.
11. To disconnect the appliance, remove the plug from the electrical outlet. Always hold the plug
and never pull the power cord.
12. NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
13. DO NOT place Warmer on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
14. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
15. The Glass Lid and Ceramic Pot Liner are fragile. Handle Warmer with care.
16. DO NOT use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
17. DO NOT store any materials in this Warmer when not in use.
18. To protect against electrical shock, the plug on this appliance will t into a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician to install a polarized outlet. DO NOT change the plug in any way.
19. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding cold or frozen ingredients into heated
Liner Pot.
20. Never plug the appliance in when the Ceramic Liner Pot is empty, as this could cause a
malfunction.
21. This appliance is for household use only.
