Screw Jacks SJ-5T/10T/15T/20T/25T
WARNING
• Read and understand the entire contents of this manual before attempting to use the screw jack.
• Never lift more than the rated capacity.
• Always make sure jack is on a flat, level, and hard surface.
• Always center jack under load.
• Never allow load to “tilt” on the jack as the jack may kick out causing injury to the operator and/or the
load to fall.
• When using more than one jack to lift a load, each jack must have the lifting capacity of the entire
load being lifted.
• Never force the screw past its safety stop.
• Always replace damaged or missing labels.
Operation
1. Select a screw jack with the proper lifting capacity.
2. Place on a flat, hard surface beneath the load to be lifted.
3. Use your hand to turn the screw out until it contacts the surface to be lifted.
4. Insert steel turning bar (not supplied) in hole under lifting pad. See Parts List for optional turning bar.
5. Rotate turning bar counter-clockwise until desired height is reached.
WARNING
Each JET screw jack is provided with a safety stop to prevent the screw from coming all the way out
when the stop is reached! Do not force the screw! Never force the screw past the safety stop!
Failure to comply may cause serious injury and/or damage to property and the jack!
