Frost protection
The appliance is equipped with a frost
protection thermostat. This automatically
switches the compressor off in order to pre-
vent ice forming in the appliance. It starts
automatically as soon as the temperature in
the room reaches the right level for opera-
tion. The appliance can thus be used in low-
temperature environments without causing
problems. Indicator lamp
3
is lit while the
frost protection feature is activated.
General information
When used within enclosed rooms at
relative humidity levels exceeding 30%, the
dehumidifi er removes moisture from the air
and collects the water that condenses out.
This signifi cantly reduces the build-up of
condensation on walls, and prolongs the life
of furniture and electrical appliances.
A relative humidity level of between 40 and
60% is recommended to maintain a pleas-
ant room environment.
Putting the unit into
operation
The appliance is fi tted with a handle
10
and
castors
11
to make it easier to transport.
Position the dehumidifi er on an even, fi rm
surface.
Turn the rotary switch
1a
to “off”, uncoil
the power cord
12
and plug in.
Set the desired relative humidity level
with the rotary switch
1a
.
Info
: The dehumidifi er only begins to
operate when the humidity in the room is
higher than the level set. The indicator lamp
1
is lit while the appliance is dehumidifying,
and goes out when the ambient humidity
reaches the value set. Should the humidity
level in the air rise, the dehumidifi er is
automatically switched on again.

compressor malfunctioning, do not remove
and replace the water tank repeatedly in
quick succession.
