4.3 PROPER AND IMPROPER LOADING OF
DISHWARE
Place all contaners such as cups, glasses and pots nto the
dshwasher wth the openng facng downwards (so that no water
can collect).
The movement of the spray arms must not be hndered.
Do not overload your dshwasher.
Only wth sutable dshes (mentoned n secton 5) wll you obtan
optmal washng results wth a sensble use of energy.

5. WHAT SHOULD NOT BE WASHED IN
YOUR DISHWASHER
Rust-senstve steel parts lke ron and cast ron that can rust and
stan other utensls and damage the nteror stanless steel lner
of the dshwasher and vod the warranty. Do not wash copper,
brass, pewter, bronze or tn.
Cutlery wth wooden or horn handles and cutlery wth mother-
of-pearl or porcelan handles wll deterorate over tme f put n
the dshwasher.
Plastcs may lose ther shape or color wth hot water, please
follow the nstructons of plastc manufacturers. Be sure that
plastc tems are marked dshwasher safe.
Glued dshes or cutlery are not sutable for machne washng
snce certan adhesves may get soft or dssolve wth hot water.
Alumnum may fade over tme. Mnerals n water and detergent
may cause the alumnum to darken or spot.
Sterlng slver artcles should not be washed n the dshwasher
because they tend to dscolor and become dull by dshwasher
detergent.
Slverware and stanless steel tems should not be n contact
wth each other. Mxng these tems can cause stanng. Remove
and hand dry these tems mmedately when the program ends.
Decorated glasses, porcelan, fne chna and chna wth gold rms
are senstve to machne washng. They may lose ther patterns
and colors over tme.
Crystal and very fne glassware may become opaque (etch)
losng ther shne over tme. You may prefer to wash them by
hand.
Do not wash sponges or dsh cloths n dshwasher.
Do not wash art and craft artcles n dshwasher.
Dsposable plastcs and dsposable alumnum cannot wthstand
hgh temperatures; do not wash them n the dshwasher.

Do not wash tems soled wth cgarette ash, candle wax,
varnsh, pants or chemcals snce they can damage your
dshwasher.
