Installation

STEP 10

Mount Range Hood onto Wall

• Hang the range hood on the hooks of the hood mounting

bracket. (See Figure #3)

• Screw the range hood to the wall.

CAUTION - Make certain the range hood is secure before

releasing!

STEP 11

Connect Ductwork

• Install the expansion pipe and x it with cable tie. Please note the

expansion pipe is not included in the product.

• Do not install the ductwork too tightly as this may prevent the

damperapsfromopeningwhichwilloverworkthemotorand

cause improper functioning of the unit.

• Fasten all connections with sheet metal screws and tape all joints

with certied aluminum or foil tape. Use caulking to seal exterior

wall or roof opening around the cap.

STEP 12

Install Chimney

• Remove the protective coating from the upper chimney. Carefully slide the upper chimney down into the lower chimney.

• Use two screws to x the two chimneys together with the lower chimney bracket, make sure upper chimney is moving

freely. (See Figure #5)

• Connect expansion pipe to outside. (See Figure #6)

• Fix the body with safety screws, using pre-drilled holes (6 mm) located on the back housing. (See Figure #6)

• Screw the upper chimney to the upper mounting bracket. (See Figure #7)
