Inserting and Removing the Battery Pack
from the Tool (Fig.A, F)
WARNING: Before removing or installing
battery, make certain the trigger switch

is in the off
position to prevent switchactuation.
NOTE: Make sure your battery pack

is fullycharged.
To Install the Battery Pack into the ToolHandle
Align the battery pack

with the rails inside the tool’s
handle (Fig. F).
Slide it into the handle until the battery pack is firmly seated
in the tool and ensure that you hear the lock snap intoplace.
To Remove the Battery Pack from theTool
Press the release button

and firmly pull the battery pack
out of the toolhandle.
Insert battery pack into the charger as described in the
charger section of thismanual.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the
mainhandle

WARNING: Do not operate blower
without blow tube securely in place. Never reach down
into housing through tubehole.

wear hearing protection. Use of rubber gloves and
substantial footwear is recommended when working
outdoors. Keep long hair and loose clothing away from
openings and moving parts. For household useonly.
WARNING: Cut Hazard. When turning
the tool off, wait 10seconds for the fan to stop rotating
beforeremoving the blowertube.
• Always ensure the blower is switched OFF and the
battery is removed when:
- You leave blowerunattended.
- Clearing ablockage.
OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, turn unit off and remove the
battery pack before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories.
An accidental start-up can causeinjury.
Blow Tube Assembly (Fig. E)
CAUTION:
• Blow tubes must be assembled beforeuse.
• Never operate without the upper tube assembled
to the blower and the lower tube assembled to the
uppertube.
• In the interest of safety, it is not intended for the tubes to
be separated onceassembled.
To Assemble Blower Tubes
1. Align the upper tube

to the blower and the lower
tube

to the upper tube as shown in Fig.E.
2. Push the upper tube firmly onto the blower, until the lock
engages and an audible click isheard.
3. Then push the lower tube firmly into the upper tube,
until the lock engages and an audible click isheard.
4. Pull on the tubes to ensure they are securely inplace.
5. To remove the tube, insert a screwdriver into the
unlocking hole

on the side of the housing. Lift the tab
inside and pull tubeout.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

Switching On (Fig.A, H)
WARNING: Use both hands to grip the
product firmly when switchingon.
CAUTION: Do not point unit discharge at
self orbystanders.
CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses and
hearing protection. Wear a filter mask if the operation
is dusty. Use of gloves, long pants and substantial
footwear is recommended. Keep long hair and loose
clothing away from openings and movingparts.
1. To turn the blower on, depress the
variablespeedtrigger

2. Release the variable speed trigger

to turn the blower off.
3. Hold the blower with one hand as shown in Fig. G and
sweep from side to side with the tube

accumulated pile of debris in front of you.
