The face mask purposes is to provide hot steam inhalation therapy. Steam inhalation therapy
is a natural means for helping to relieve the congestion of bronchitis, the common cold,
allergies and a variety of other respiratory and sinus ailments. Steam inhalation opens up
congested sinuses and lung passages, allowing you to discharge mucus, breathe more easily
and heal faster.

when using an electrical product. Failure to read and observe all precautions could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.
Steam output may reach in excess of 109°F (42.8°C). Always use caution when handling the
unit. Not intended for use by children or inrmed persons without close adult supervision.
Improper care or use of your steam inhaler may result in injury, damage to the unit
or ineective treatment. Following these instructions will ensure the steam inhaler’s
ecacy and long life.
GENERAL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
• Keep out of reach of children
• To avoid electrical shock keep the steam inhaler away from water, never immerse the unit
in liquid; do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water—immediately unplug the unit
• Do not handle the unit or power cord with wet hands
• Do not use the unit if it has any damaged parts (including power cord or plug), if it has
been submersed in water or dropped
• If any abnormality occurs, discontinue use until the unit has been examined and repaired
• Do not leave the unit unattended when plugged in or operating
• Do not shake the unit when in operation
• Opening the cover during operation may cause injury
• Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning, lling and after each use
• Only use included attachments and parts; do not use attachments from other brands or
models

OPERATING CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
• Do not put masks up to eyes or allow steam to come in contact with eyes
• Change the water after each use
• Do not overll the heating tank or secondary ll tank
• Only use clean pure water in the heating tank; follow instructions for using saline water
and aromatherapy products in the secondary ll tank
• Never use this unit while operating a vehicle or in the bathtub or shower
• If you experience any discomfort or an abnormality occurs, stop using immediately
• The unit should not be used for more than 10 minutes at a time; always wait until the unit
has completely cooled before beginning a treatment
• Do not block the side vents while in use
• Always turn o and unplug immediately after use

FACE MASK
This steam inhaler includes a nose/mouth style face mask.
The small nose/mouth style mask is suitable for use with hot steam inhalation therapy or
aromatherapy. The small cone of this mask helps direct
the steam into the mouth and nose. The user’s mouth and
nose should t comfortably into the mask; the notched
portion at the top of the mask allows room for the bridge
of the nose.
NEVER REST YOUR FACE ON THE MASK. THE MASK IS PLASTIC
AND WILL BECOME PLIABLE WHEN HEATED BY THE STEAM;
SUPPORTING THE HEAD/FACE ON THE MASK COULD CAUSE THE
UNIT TO TIP OR FALL.

USING YOUR STEAM INHALER –
HOT STEAM INHALATION THERAPY
Before proceeding, the individual receiving
therapy should be seated in a comfortable
position as treatments take several minutes. Keep
in mind the height of the user and of the product
to ensure the mask is at the desired level; the
steam inhaler should never be lifted or handled
while operating.
STEAM THERAPY TREATMENTS
1. The unit should be situated on a at, stable
surface within operating range of the user
and an electrical outlet. Ensure that the air
vents on the side of the unit housing are not
blocked or obstructed.
2. Remove the top cover of the housing by
pressing the ridged area on the underside
of the extension tube and pulling up on the
top cover, Fig. 1.
3. Open the water heater tank by turning the
cover counter-clockwise, Fig. 2.
4. Using the included measuring cup, add
20 ml of pure tap or distilled water to the
water heater tank, Fig. 3. Note the ll line in
the tank. Do not overll. Never add saline,
essential oils or other additives to the
heating tank as this will damage the unit.
5. Replace the water tank cover and close
securely by turning clockwise.

6. Remove the secondary ll tank, Fig. 4.
7. Add 80 ml of tap/distilled water OR saline water to
the larger capacity side of the secondary ll tank
(the side where the suction tube feeds), Fig. 5.
NOTE: Follow physician direction when using
saline treatments. Never use saline water with a
salt concentration higher than 7%.
8. Replace the secondary ll tank, making sure the
suction tube feeds into the larger side of the ll
tank. The left/smaller side of the secondary ll
tank is an overow tank to collect water. Never
place liquid in this side of the tank.
9. Check to make sure the nozzle and suction tube
are in place and that the suction tube is not bent,
Fig. 6. Reattach the top cover to the body of the
unit.
10. Place the smaller, mouth/nose mask onto the
extension tube and adjust the extension tube
to the desired height, Fig. 7. The height/length
of the tubing will not aect the steam output or
treatment time.

11. Make sure the dial switch on the power cord is in
the ‘OFF’ position and plug the power cord into
an electrical outlet. Turn the dial switch to the
ON position, Fig. 1. The light on the front of the
unit under the secondary ll tank will illuminate.
12. Bring face to the mask, Fig 2. Do NOT attempt
to lift the unit to face. The face may safely make
contact with the mask, but should not rest on or
pull on the mask.
13. Unit will take approximately 60 seconds to boil
water and begin producing steam.
14. Inhale and exhale normally. The particle size can
be adjusted by sliding the particle adjustment
slide switch, Fig. 3.

through the mouth

inhalation through the nose
15. Continue treatment for as long as comfortable or
until the steam lessens and quits, approximately
6-9 minutes.
16. When treatment is complete, turn o unit
immediately at the dial switch on the cord
and unplug the unit. Do not attempt to move
or disassemble the unit until it has cooled
completely, approximately 10 minutes.
17. Disassemble and clean your steam inhaler, Fig. 4.

The practice of aromatherapy makes use of essential oils from owers, herbs and trees to
promote health and well-being. Essential oils can vary greatly in quality and purity and not
all essential oils may be safely inhaled. Certain illnesses and medications are not compatible
with aromatherapy treatments and unguided use of essential oils may be dangerous to your
health.
AS THIS IS A DIRECT INHALATION DEVICE, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT
YOU SEEK THE ADVICE AND GUIDANCE OF YOUR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL OR
OTHER MEDICAL EXPERT BEFORE USING THIS DEVICE FOR AROMATHERAPY.
• Never add herbs or other items to the water
• Always follow manufacturer instruction for determining the amount of essential oils to
add to the water
• Use of saline and essential oils will thicken the water and produce larger particles, which
may cause the unit to ‘spit’ steam. When using this steam inhaler with any supplemental
liquid aside from water, take extra caution during operation and stop treatment if the
therapy becomes uncomfortable
When using this product for aromatherapy treatments, closely follow the instructions as
detailed in the ‘USING YOUR STEAM INHALER’ sections of this manual. The aromatherapy
product should only be used in the secondary ll tank as indicated in the Using Your Steam
Inhaler instructions.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
The steam inhaler mask and accessories should be thoroughly cleaned after each use and
disinfected each day if being used to treat an illness unless a dierent cleaning regimen is
specied by your healthcare professional.
Always make certain that the unit has cooled completely after a therapy session before
attempting to dismantle or clean the steam inhaler.
CLEANING/RINSING:
1. Ensure that the power is set to OFF and the power cord is
disconnected from the power outlet.
2. Disconnect the mask. Remove the secondary ll tank, the
top portion of the unit housing and the lid of the water
heating tank.
3. Empty any remaining water from the water heat tank.
4. Use warm water to rinse the mask and secondary ll tank; if an aromatherapy product or
saline water was used, you may wash the pieces with a mild detergent.
5. Allow the unit to completely air dry or dry thoroughly with a clean, soft towel. Do not
store any parts wet as remaining moisture creates a risk for bacterial growth.
6. Never wash or submerge steam inhaler housing or power cord. Occasionally wipe the
body of the unit with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Only clean the body of the unit
when it is unplugged and completely cool.
NOTE: Steam inhaler parts and mask is NOT dishwasher safe.
DISINFECTION:
The same general process may be followed when disinfecting the parts of the steam inhaler.
Mix one part white vinegar with three parts distilled water in a volume sucient to fully
immerse all of the parts. Submerge the parts in the water and vinegar mixture for thirty
minutes, then rinse all parts thoroughly with water.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
CLEANING THE STEAM NOZZLE
Water with a high mineral count, use of saline water
and aromatherapy treatments may clog the steam
nozzle. If the steam inhaler begins to produce
signicantly less steam or no steam but has power and
water in the water heater tank, the steam nozzle may
need be cleaned. Be certain that the unit has entirely
cooled before attempting to clean the steam nozzle.
1. Locate the small spring pin on the underside of
the unit, Fig. 1. Use a non-metal tool to pop the
pin out.
2. Remove the top housing of the unit. Locate the
steam nozzle, twist counter-clockwise and lift up
the nozzle as shown, Fig. 2.
3. Use the small spring to thread each of the two
small holes in the steam nozzle to clear the holes,
Fig. 3.
4. Replace the steam nozzle. Make sure the suction
tubing is straight before attempting to use, Fig. 4.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The warrantor guarantees that its Steam Inhaler will be free from manufacturing defects under
normal use for a period of one-year. This warranty covers only normal use, and does not apply
to use in any clinical or commercial applications. This warranty is voided if the unit is misused
or abused in any manner.
If the steam inhaler fails to operate within the warranty period while under the original
purchaser owns the product, return it postage prepaid to: Attn: Repair Department,
1175 Lakeside, Gurnee, IL, 60031; include your name, address, phone number and brief
description of the problem with your nebulizer. Take care to carefully package the product to
avoid any damage that may occur while in transit; shipping insurance with returned receipt
is recommended. The warrantor will repair or replace the defective unit at our option. Repair
or replacement of the defective unit, at the warrantor’s option, is the sole remedy under this
warranty.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH THE PURCHASER MAY HAVE ARE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE TIME THAT THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER OWNS THE
PRODUCT. Some states do not allow limitations or how long an implied warranty lasts, so the
above limitation may not apply to you.

La emisión de vapor podría alcanzar una temperatura superior a 109°F (42.8°C). Tome siempre
precauciones cuando manipule la unidad. Esta unidad no ha sido diseñada para el uso por
parte de niños o personas discapacitadas sin la estrecha supervisión de un adulto.
El cuidado o uso inadecuado del inhalador de vapor puede ocasionar lesiones, daños
a la unidad, o resultar en un tratamiento inecaz. Si sigue estas instrucciones, se
garantizará la ecacia y la vida útil prolongada del inhalador de vapor.
PRECAUCIONES GENERALES Y ADVERTENCIAS
• Mantenga fuera del alcance de los niños
• Para prevenir un choque eléctrico, mantenga el inhalador de vapor lejos del agua, nunca
sumerja la unidad en líquidos; no trate de rescatar una unidad que haya caído al agua —
desconecte la unidad de inmediato
• No manipule la unidad ni su cable de energía con las manos mojadas

SELECCIÓN DE MASCARILLA FACIAL
Este inhalador de vapor incluye una máscara facial tipo nariz/boca.
La mascarilla pequeña para nariz/boca es adecuada para usar con la
terapia o aromaterapia de inhalación de vapor. El
cono pequeño de esta mascarilla ayuda a dirigir el
vapor hacia la boca y la nariz. La boca y la nariz
del usuario deberán alojarse cómodamente en la
máscara; la porción muescada en la parte superior
de la mascarilla aloja el puente de la nariz.
NUNCA APOYE EL ROSTRO SOBRE LA MASCARILLA. LAS
MASCARILLA ES DE PLÁSTICO Y SE TORNARÁN FLEXIBLES
CUANDO SE CALIENTEN CON EL VAPOR; APOYAR LA CABEZA/
ROSTRO SOBRE LA MASCARILLA PODRÍA HACER QUE LA
UNIDAD SE INCLINE O SE CAIGA.

USO DEL INHALADOR DE VAPOR – TERAPIA DE
INHALACIÓN DE VAPOR CALIENTE
Antes de comenzar, la persona que reciba la terapia
deberá sentarse en una posición cómoda, ya que los
tratamientos duran varios minutos. Tome en cuenta
la altura del usuario y del producto para asegurar que
la mascarilla esté en el nivel deseado; el inhalador
de vapor no debe ser nunca elevado ni manipulado
mientras esté funcionando.
TRATAMIENTOS Y TERAPIAS DE VAPOR
1. Coloque la unidad en una supercie plana y
estable, dentro del rango de funcionamiento y de
un tomacorriente. Asegúrese de que las ventilas de
aire que se encuentran al costado del alojamiento
de la unidad no estén bloqueadas ni obstruidas.
2. Quite la tapa superior de la carcasa presionando
el área estriada en la cara inferior del tubo de
extensión y tirando hacia arriba la tapa superior,
Fig. 1.
3. Abra el tanque calentador de agua girando la tapa
en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, Fig. 2.
4. Usando la taza medidora que se incluye, añada
20 ml de agua corriente pura o agua destilada al
tanque calentador de agua, Fig. 3. Observe la línea
de llenado en el tanque. No llene de más. No añada
nunca solución salina, aceites esenciales u otros
aditivos al tanque de calentamiento, ya que esto
dañaría la unidad.
5. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del tanque de agua
y cierre rmemente girando en el sentido
de las agujas del reloj.

6. Quite el segundo tanque de llenado, Fig. 4.
7. Añada 80 ml de agua corriente/agua destilada
O agua salada al lateral de mayor capacidad
del tanque de llenado secundario (el lateral
alimentado por el tubo de succión), Fig. 5.
NOTA: Siga las indicaciones del médico cuando
use tratamientos de solución salina. Nunca use
agua salada con una concentración de sal superior
a 7%.
8. Vuelva a colocar el tanque de llenado secundario,
asegurándose que el tubo de succión alimente
el lateral más grande del tanque de llenado. El
lateral izquierdo/más pequeño del tanque de
llenado secundario es un tanque de rebosamiento
para recoger agua. No introduzca líquidos en este
lateral del tanque.
9. Controle que la boquilla y el tubo de succión
estén en su lugar y que el tubo de succión no esté
curvado, Fig. 6. Vuelva a colocar la tapa superior
en el cuerpo de la unidad.
10. Coloque la máscara para boca/nariz más pequeña
en el tubo de extensión y ajústelo hasta la altura
deseada, Fig. 7. La altura/longitud del tubo no
afectará la emisión de vapor o el tiempo de
tratamiento.

11. Asegúrese que la perilla del cable de energía esté en
la posición de ‘APAGADO’ y conecte el cable de energía
a un tomacorriente. Gire la perilla hacia la posición
de ENCENDIDO , Fig. 1. La luz del frente de la unidad
debajo del tanque de llenado secundario deberá
iluminarse.
12. Acerque el rostro a la mascarilla, Fig. 2. NO intente
elevar la unidad hacia el rostro. El rostro puede
entrar en contacto con la mascarilla de modo seguro,
pero usted no debe apoyarse sobre la mascarilla ni
acercársela.
13. La unidad demorará aproximadamente 60 segundos
en hervir el agua y comenzar a producir vapor.
14. Inhale y exhale normalmente. El tamaño de partícula
puede ajustarse deslizando el interruptor deslizable de
ajuste de partículas, Fig. 3.

15. Continúe con el tratamiento por el tiempo que se
sienta cómodo o hasta que el vapor disminuya y cese,
aproximadamente 6-9 minutos.
16. Cuando el tratamiento esté completo, apague
la unidad de inmediato con la perilla del cable y
desconecte la unidad. No intente mover ni desarmar
la unidad hasta que se haya enfriado por completo,
aproximadamente 10 minutos.
17. Desarme y limpie el inhalador de vapor, Fig. 4. Todas las
piezas deben estar secas antes de guardar la unidad.

La práctica de la aromaterapia emplea aceites esenciales de ores, hierbas y árboles para
promover la salud y el bienestar. La calidad y la pureza de los aceites esenciales pueden
variar en gran medida y no todos los aceites esenciales pueden inhalarse de modo seguro.
Determinadas enfermedades y medicamentos no son compatibles con los tratamientos de
aromaterapia y el uso de los aceites esenciales sin asesoramiento puede ser peligroso para la
salud.
YA QUE ÉSTE ES UN DISPOSITIVO DE INHALACIÓN DIRECTA, SE RECOMIENDA
ENÉRGICAMENTE QUE PIDA CONSEJO Y ASESORAMIENTO A SU MÉDICO U OTRO
ESPECIALISTA ANTES DE USAR ESTE DISPOSITIVO PARA AROMATERAPIA.
• Nunca añada hierbas u otros artículos al agua
• Siga siempre las instrucciones del fabricante para determinar la cantidad de aceites
esenciales para agregar al agua
• El uso de solución salina y aceites esenciales espesará el agua y producirá partículas
más grandes, lo que pude generar que la unidad ‘escupa’ vapor. Cuando use el inhalador
de vapor con algún líquido complementario, además de agua, tenga especial cuidado
durante el funcionamiento y suspenda el tratamiento si la terapia comienza a resultar
incómoda
Cuando use este producto para tratamientos de aromaterapia, siga minuciosamente las
instrucciones que se detallan en las secciones ‘USO DEL INHALADOR DE VAPOR’ de este
manual. El producto de aromaterapia debe usarse únicamente en el tanque de llenado
secundario según se indica en las instrucciones de Uso del inhalador de vapor.

LIMPIEZA Y DESINFECCIÓN
La mascarilla y los accesorios del inhalador de vapor deben lavarse completamente después
de cada uso y desinfectarse todos los días, si se usan para tratar una enfermedad, a menos que
su médico especique un régimen de limpieza distinto.
Asegúrese siempre de que la unidad se haya enfriado por completo después de una sesión de
terapia, antes de intentar desmontar o limpiar el inhalador de vapor.
LIMPIEZA/ENJUAGUE:
1. Asegúrese de que el cable esté en la posición de APAGADO y
que el cable de energía esté desconectado del tomacorriente.
2. Desconecte la mascarilla. Saque el tanque de llenado
secundario, la porción superior de la carcasa de la unidad y la
tapa del tanque de calentamiento de agua.
3. Vacíe cualquier resto de agua del tanque de calentamiento de
agua.
4. Use agua caliente para enjuagar la mascarilla y el tanque de
llenado secundario, si se usó un producto de aromaterapia o agua salada, puede lavar las
piezas con un detergente neutro.
5. Deje que la unidad se seque al aire por completo o seque con una toalla suave y limpia.
No guarde ninguna pieza mojada, pues la humedad remanente crea riesgo de desarrollo
de bacterias.
6. Nunca lave ni sumerja la carcasa o el cable de energía del inhalador de vapor. De vez en
cuando, limpie la carcasa de la unidad con un paño húmedo y deje secar al aire. Limpie la
carcasa de la unidad sólo cuando esté desenchufada y totalmente fría.
NOTA:
Las piezas del inhalador de vapor y la máscara NO son aptas para lavavajillas.
DESINFECCIÓN:
Se puede seguir el mismo procedimiento para desinfectar las piezas del inhalador de vapor.
Mezcle una parte de vinagre blanco con tres partes de agua destilada en cantidad suciente
como para sumergir completamente todas las piezas. Sumerja las piezas en la mezcla de agua
y vinagre durante treinta minutos, luego enjuague todas las piezas con abundante agua.

LIMPIEZA DE LA BOQUILLA DE VAPOR
El agua con un alto contenido de minerales, el uso
de agua salada y los tratamientos de aromaterapia
pueden obstruir la boquilla de vapor. Si el inhalador de
vapor comienza a producir mucho menos vapor o no
produce vapor pero tiene energía y agua en el tanque
del calentador de agua, es posible que sea necesario
limpiar la boquilla de vapor. Asegúrese de que la
unidad se haya enfriado totalmente antes de intentar
limpiar la boquilla de vapor.
1. Ubique la pequeña articulación de resorte
en la parte inferior de la unidad, Fig. 1. Use
una herramienta no metálica para extraer la
articulación de resorte.
2. Quite la carcasa superior de la unidad. Coloque
la boquilla de vapor, enrosque en el sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj y eleve la boquilla
como se muestra, Fig. 2.
3. Use el pequeño resorte para roscar cada uno de
los pequeños oricios en la boquilla de vapor para
despejar los oricios, Fig. 3.
4. Vuelva a colocar la boquilla de vapor. Asegúrese
de que el tubo de succión esté en línea recta antes
de intentar usar la unidad, Fig. 4.

El inhalador de vapor está garantizado de estar libre de defectos de fabricación durante un
período de un año, a partir de la fecha de la compra, bajo condiciones de uso normales, sujeto
a los siguientes términos y condiciones.
Si el inhalador de vapor no funciona durante el tiempo que está en poder del comprador
original, devuélvalo con el franqueo prepagado a: Attn: Repair Department, 1175
Lakeside, Gurnee, IL, 60031. Al devolver un producto, incluya también su nombre, domicilio,
número de teléfono y una breve descripción del problema especíco de la unidad. Embale
cuidadosamente el producto para evitar daños mientras está en tránsito; se recomienda
contratar un seguro de envío con aviso de retorno. El garante reparará o cambiará la unidad
defectuosa a nuestra elección. La reparación o el reemplazo de la unidad defectuosa, a opción
del garante, es el único recurso aceptable de conformidad con esta garantía.
TODA GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA QUE EL COMPRADOR PUDIERE TENER ES DE DURACIÓN
LIMITADA RESPECTO DEL TIEMPO QUE EL PRODUCTO SE ENCUENTRA EN PODER DEL
COMPRADOR CONSUMIDOR ORIGINAL. En algunos estados no se permiten limitaciones en
