265 VOLT ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
[] ATTACH CONDUIT
1 Use the romM knockout at the botton/oI the
junction box to attach conduit coming fl'om the
branch circuit. Remove the knockout, attach the
conduit and bring wires into tlm jtmction box.
i,eave 6" ot wire flee at the end of the conduit
to allow connections to be made.
2 If a fllse and fllseholder are to be used, the
knockout at the top of the box is for n/ounfing
a Buss Fuseholde_: Be sm'e the filse and filseholder
are of the same rating as the branch circuit.
I,eadwires at the fi/se can be either soldered in
place or attached using UL-listed 1/4" female
(receptacle) crimp connectors.
[] REINSTALL JUNCTION BOX
• Reinstall the jtmction box by engaging the left tabs
on the lower right tace ot the trait, aligning the
screw holes at the top and bottom and driving the
two screws tmfil secm'e. Be sm'e that all wire leads
are inside the box and not pinched between the box
and the trait. The green insulated ground wire fl'om
the trait MUSTbe com_ected to the branch circuit
grotmd wire.
Make all wire connections by using approl)riate
UIAisted electrical com_ectms and mchniques
(black U) black, white U) white and green to green).
[] REINSTALL JUNCTION
BOX COVER
1 Careflflly rock all wires and connections back inside
thejm_ction box. Be sm'e there are no loose
connections or stray tminsulated wires exposed.
2 Place thejm_cfion box cover in place. Replace the
two scre_vs removed earlier and tighten seem'ely.
3 Discard the mmsed portion of the plug and
the cordset.
