BLUE LIGHT EMISSION
This device includes RGB LEDs that can provide blue light above the recent Blue Light
emission Group I Exempt Group:
There is a risk when looking directly into the device’s
internal LEDs emitting blue light in distances under
200 mm. Therefore, to avoid the risk of exposure, it
is recommended to respect a minimum distance
between the equipment and the user of no less than
200 mm.
Installing and Connecting
Plug the power cord into the nearest outlet. Make sure the surface is dry (never
place Airfree
®
on wet floor or immerge it in water). Adjust the multi-color Night Light’s
intensity by pressing the touch sensor. After 30 minutes the top lid should feel warm
to the touch.*
Place Airfree
®
on a flat surface preferably no higher than 30’’ / 75 cm from the floor.
Ensure Airfree
®
is not placed under furniture, shelves, or behind curtains as this will
interfere with the air flow and Airfree
®
’s efficiency in destroying microorganisms.
Check if the area is compatible with the unit’s capacity to achieve the best
performance. Using Airfree
®
in rooms larger than the devices’ capacity will greatly
reduce their purifying capacity.
Airfree
®
must be always on in the same room, 24 hours a day, as removing it from the
room, even if temporarily, will allow for new microorganism contamination to grow.
This, however, will stop once Airfree
®
is plugged in again. The longer the period
without Airfree
®
, the higher the new contamination level in the room.
Rooms with air condition or ventilation will not affect the air sterilization efficiency of
your Airfree
®
. Same for Heating systems.
Airfree
®
can be placed in corridors but the air sterilization level will barely be noticeable
in adjoining rooms.
Airfree
®
is to be used preferably in rooms larger than 43 sq. ft. or 353 cu. ft. / 4 m² or
10 m³. Installing the device in rooms with air conditioning or ventilation will not affect
the air sterilization efficiency of your Airfree
®
. Same for heating systems.
Avoid placing the unit near open doors or windows to prevent some of the sterilized
air from exiting the room.
SHORT POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and the longer
cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter or table top where
it could be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
