#1 There are 2 buttons on the tap but no instructions on use - seems easy but it also appears that every time you want to use the spray you have to push the button - is there anyway I can do this without having to push the button every time ?

The Oliveri Pull Out Tap VT0426B does not require you to push the button to pull the tap out. The 2 buttons are for when you pull the tap down is to spray the water on and off.

#2 Hi, Just had this tap installed an although I love it, the pull out part slips down sometimes. Is it supposed to lock into position somehow?

The tap has a counterweight which should have been installed under the sink, this allows you to slide the hose back into position, there is no physical locking device on the hose itself, and the lead counterweight will stop the hose from coming completely out and will assist when pushing the hose back into position.
