NOTE: Before moving the Restraint to the
FORWARD-FACING position, you must first
remove the Tether from the Tether Storage
Compartment on the back of the Restraint.
a. Rotate the Restraint to the FORWARD-
FACING position.
b. Locate the vehicle Tether Anchor and attach
the Tether Hook to the Tether Anchor.
c. Pull the Tether Adjuster Strap to tighten.
ALWAYS USE A TETHER FORWARD-FACING
if a Tether Anchor is available. A Tether
reduces movement of a FORWARD-FACING
child restraint in a crash and helps to achieve
a tight installation. Tether Anchor locations
vary from vehicle to vehicle. Refer to your
vehicle owner’s manual for exact locations,
anchor identification, and requirements. Refer
to page 51 for some common locations.
