Never blend or mix hot

Never add ingredients
to the mixing bowl
while the machine is
operating.
DO NOT operate the
appliance continuously.
Operating beyond the
recommended period
may cause the motor
to overheat. If the
surface of the appliance
becomes very hot, it
may need time to cool
down. The continuous
operating time must be
less than 30 seconds.
Allow the appliance
to rest for at least 2
minutes between
cycles. After operating
5 cycles continuously,
allow the appliance
to cool down to room
temperature before
restarting.
The blender should be
run for no longer than
15 seconds without a
load.
DO NOT use the
appliance to blend
ingredients that may be
too hard for the motor
and blades.
DO NOT use the
appliance in direct
sunlight or near
heating appliances
(heaters, stoves, ovens
etc.).
This appliance must be
used ONLY according
to the instructions.
In the unlikely event
the appliance develops
a fault, stop using
it immediately and

WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated.
Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
Wiring Safety for UK Use Only
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with
the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, please proceed
as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown
live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral
and must be connected to the
terminal marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live
wire and must be connected to the
terminal marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown
or the blue wire be connected to the
[EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse
of the same rating already fitted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA
approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a
non-rewireable plug fitted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need
replacing, you must use an ASTA
approved one (conforming to BS 1362
of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
If you need to remove the plug –
disconnect it from the mains – and
then cut it off of the mains lead and
immediately dispose of it in a safe
manner. Never attempt to reuse the
plug or insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a danger of an electric shock.

Before First Use:
Read all instructions and safety information carefully before first use. Please retain this information
for future reference.
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time, carefully clean the blender shaft.
3. DO NOT use any aggressive detergents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp objects
for cleaning the unit.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Using Your Appliance:
1. Fit the power handle inside the blender shaft; turn clockwise until there is an audible click,
confirming the shaft is locked in to position. The lock symbol on the power handle and the
arrow on the blender shaft should be aligned.
2. Connect the unit to the mains socket.
3. Press and hold the power switch button to turn the blender on. Alternatively press and hold
the Turbo button.
4. Immerse the blade completely into the ingredients to be blended.
5. Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in a circular motion.
WARNING! DO NOT blend continuously for more than 30 seconds.
6. Once blending is complete, release the power switch or Turbo button.
7. Switch off at the socket and unplug.
CAUTION: If the blender becomes blocked, release the power/ Turbo switch, switch off at the wall
socket and unplug before clearing the blades.

Troubleshooting:
Questions Answers
The mixture splashes
up when I blend
This can happen due to the powerful blades of the stick blender. Place
the end of the blender shaft into your mixture before turning it on, to
minimise splash.
Use a larger or deeper bowl or jug.
My mixture is not
blending
Chop your ingredients into smaller pieces.
How long can I use
the blender for before
it needs to rest?
Do not exceed 30 seconds continuous running time.
Allow the appliance to cool down before restarting.
Can I use the stick
blender to crush ice?
Do not use the blender to crush ice as this can blunt the blades.

Cleaning & Care:
1. Unplug the appliance and put the motor unit to one side.
2. The bowl, blades and lid can all be washed in warm, soapy water.
CAUTION: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp.
3. Wipe the power handle and cord with a damp cloth.
4. DO NOT immerse the power handle in water.
5. Make sure that the appliance is cleaned after every use.
6. Allow to dry fully after cleaning before using again.
DO NOT use scouring pads, steel wool, any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the appliance; they may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance.
CAUTION! DO NOT clean any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.
WARNING:
DO NOT immerse any electrical part of
the appliance in water such as motor units
or plugs.

To store your appliance:
1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and clean as above.
2. Allow the appliance to dry fully.
3. Assemble the appliance and store out of reach of children.
