Freezing and storing food

–VarioRoom: freezing the maximum
amount of food (see data plate)
Tip: You can expand the space avail-
able in the freezer section. If you wish to
freeze large items such as a turkey or
game, the freezer drawers can be re-
moved.
Remove the upper freezer drawers
and place the food in the freezer
drawer below or directly on the base
of the freezer section.
Once frozen:
Switch off the Party mode func-
tion.
Place the frozen food flat in the
freezer drawers.
Place the freezer drawers back in the
refrigeration appliance by pushing the
guide into the holder on the left and
right.

For standard freezing results, follow the
advice on packaging.
By keeping the freezer zone at a con-
stant temperature of -18°C and taking
appropriate hygiene measures you can
maximise the storage life of your food
and avoid food waste.
Cooling drinks quickly
When cooling drinks quickly in the
freezer, make sure bottles are not left in
for more than one hour; otherwise
they could burst, causing injury and
damage.
