Usage notes
- After cooking, allow the oven com-
partment to cool down to room tem-
perature again before starting an
automatic programme.
- The weights specified in the auto-
matic programmes refer to the weight
per piece. For example, you can cook
just one piece of salmon weighing
250g or ten pieces of salmon, each
weighing 250g, at the same time.
- The degree of cooking and browning
are represented by a bar with seven
segments. You can set how well you
want the food cooked or how brown
you want it to be by touching the rel-
evant segment.
- Some roasting programmes also offer
the Roast with moistureoption. With
this option, meat is cooked at a low
temperature over a long cooking dur-
ation for tender and succulent res-
ults. The additional moisture helps to
achieve the best cooking and brown-
ing result: the meat is very succulent
and tender. The cut is cooked evenly
and has a thin brown outer layer that
forms during the roasting pro-
gramme. It is therefore not necessary
to sear the meat beforehand. In con-
trast to the Roastoption, there is no
need to use the food probe in this
case and you can set a start or end
time to suit your menu planning.
- Please refer to the cookbook for in-
formation on suitable bakeware.
- In the Rice category, you can select
General in addition to the long-grain
and short-grain rice programmes.
