Chisel Assembly Continued
•Usingthefront tab (H), tightly install the spring retainer (G)
over the chisel (J).
•Slidethe chisel shank (K) into the barrel (A) of the Air
Chisel Hammer.
•Screwthespring retainer (G) onto the threads on the end
of the barrel (A) until fully installed.
IMPORTANT: The spring retainer holds chisel in place. It must
be secure before the chisel can operate properly.
OPERATING PROCEDURES
START-UP (FIG. 1, PG. 2)
•Connecttooltoairhoseofrecommendedsize.
•Turnontheaircompressorandallowtheairtanktobefilled.
•Settheaircompressorregulatorto90PSI.Thisair
tool operates at a maximum of 90 PSI air pressure.
•Depressthetriggertostartoperatingthetool.
SHUT-DOWN (FIG. 1, PG. 2)
•Releasethetriggerinordertostopthetool.
•Whenjobiscompleted,turnofftheaircompressorandstore
the air tool after lubrication.
•Whenchangingchisels,alwaysdisconnectairsupplyto
avoid injuries.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
•Selectchisel/attachmenttoperformtheworktaskand
ensure that the chisel retainer is securely fitted. Do not use
tool without retainer spring retainer securely fitted.
•Whilefirmlygrippingthetoolwiththerighthand,graspthe
barrel with the left hand. The tool’s power is controlled by
the pressure exerted on the trigger.
•Alwaysensurethatthetoolisincontactwiththework
piece before pressing the trigger. Running the tool free
will reduce tool life by placing unnecessarily high loads on
he retainer spring and cylinder.
