EMPTYING THE LEAF COLLECTION BAG
Periodically empty the leaf collection bag for best perfor-
mance and to prevent the bag from becoming too heavy.
The flap covering the zipper area is secured with a hook-
and-loop fastener.
Remove the battery pack.
Remove the leaf collection bag.
Open the flap.
Grasp the zipper pull and pull downward.
Properly dispose of the contents.
Close the zippers and the flap.
Reinstall the leaf collection bag.
Reinstall the battery pack.
CHECKING FOR CLOGS
If the leaf vacuum seems to be losing suction, check the
tubes for possible clogs or obstructions.
Remove the battery pack.
Loosen the thumbscrew that holds the upper tube.
Pull the locking screw to release the upper tube.
Clear any debris or leaves from the tubes and the housing
area.
OPERATION
STARTING/STOPPING THE LEAF VACUUM
See Figure 7.
To start the leaf vacuum, press the switch trigger.
To stop the leaf vacuum, release the switch trigger.
VARIABLE SPEED
See Figure 7.
While the switch trigger is pressed, you can adjust the
vacuum speed by rolling the variable speed dial forward
to increase speed, or back toward you to decrease speed.
OPERATING THE LEAF VACUUM
See Figure 8.
Wheels work best when used on a flat surface such as a
concrete patio or sidewalk.
The vacuum is designed to pick up leaves. Take care not
to vacuum large twigs. Do not vacuum wet leaves.
To reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of
equipment used at any one time.
After using leaf vacuums or other equipment, CLEAN UP!
Dispose of debris properly.
