Cleaning
1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning
2. Wipe the kettle and base with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Dry the kettle and the base thoroughly after cleaning
Note: Never immerse kettle or power base in water
Descaling
Scale is a naturally occurring buildup of mineral deposits caused by impurities in
water or use of hard water. You should descale the kettle at least once a week if
you use it frequently. Regular descaling will increase the service life of the kettle,
allowing it to boil water faster with less energy.
1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool, pour out all water.
2. Fill the kettle with amixture of half white vinegar and half water to the
“MAX” marking
3. Leave to soak for at least 30 minutes. Boil the mixture.
4. Pour out the mixture, then wipe off any remaining scale with a non-abrasive
cloth, sponge, or cleaning brush.
5. Repeat as needed.
6. Empty Kettle and rinse with fresh water. Let dry thoroughly.
