MANUAL OPERATION
Afteryouturnontheunit,youcanswitch
tomanualoperationbytappingtheMODE
button.
• LOW, MEDIUM, OR HIGH SETTINGS
Theselevelsarerecommendedfor
standarddaytimeuse.HIGHwillactivate
automaticallywhensensorsdetectpoor
airquality.
AeraSmart™ SENSOR
Airqualityindicatorshowslevelsofairquality.
Greenlevelindicatesairisclean.
Amberlevelindicatesairqualityispoor.
Redlevelindicateshighlevelofpollutants
intheair.
CLEANING
• Cleanunitasnecessarybywipingwitha
dry,softcloth;forstubbornstains,usea
warm,dampcloth.
• Donotusevolatileuidssuchas
benzene,paintthinner,orscouring
powder,astheymaydamagethe
unitsurface.
• Keeptheunitdry.
Filter Replacement
TheashingAUTOandSLEEPLED'swill
signalwhentoreplacethecombination
lter.Thereplacementperiodwillvary
dependingonthehoursofuseandair
quality.However,undernormalusage,itwill
needtobereplacedannually.
DonotwashandreusetheTrueHEPA
orCarbonFilters—theywillnotwork
effectively.OnlyuseFellowesbrand
AeraMax™replacementlters.
Replacement Procedure
1.Openlterdoor.
2.Removeanddisposeofoldlter.
3.Removeanypackagingwrapfromthe
newlter(s).
Forreplacementlterpartnumbers,see
page4.
4.Placethenewltersinthemainunit.
(Closedsideofthelterfacesdown).
Pressonplasticedgesofthelteruntil
rmlyseatedinthemachine.
5.Closelterdoorsecurely.
6.ToresetthelterlightonceanewFilter
isinstalled:
a.Besurethatdrawerisclosed.
b.Turnontheunit.
c. Toresetthelterlight,pressthe
MODEandSPEEDbuttonsatthe
sametimefor3seconds.Thiswill
turnoffthelightsandresetthelter
lifetimer.
WARNING:Beforereplacingany
lters,makesuretoremovethe
powerplugfromthewalloutlet.
