USING YOUR SPRAYER
All material settles as it sits, so it is important to mix it
thoroughly before you begin.
NOTE: Do not shake the material to mix it. This can
cause bubbles in the material which can result
in a poor spray pattern. Always stir the
material gently but thoroughly before use.
Remove any skin that has formed on the top of the material.
Do not mix the skin into the material If you do the skin will
break up and clog your sprayen
Using the 1-quart container
To use:
1. Fill container with the material to be sprayed.
2. Place a few drops of household oil down the intake and
return openings in the pump housing.

securely into the
intake opening on the
bottom of the pump
housing. Make certain
that the intake filter is I'_
in place on the suction
set.
4. Thread the container
securely to the
sprayer.
CAUTION 1
Never tip the sprayer at more than a 45° angle when using
the small container. Material could get into the motor
housing and damage the sprayer.

Using the optional suction extension
The suction extension inctudes a suction tube, tube fitting,
locking collar, return cup, and a container clip. It allows you to
attach the sprayer to a larger container such as a 1 or 5 gatlon
paint pail. This wilI decrease the material flow, so It will take
longer to apply lhe same amount of material to the surface
being sprayed.
To use:
1. Place a few drops of oil down the two holes in the gun.

gun, lining up the indentation
in the side of the cup with the
intake port on the sprayer.
Slip the locking collar over the
cup and thread into place. The
return cup is necessary to
catch any paint that is returned
through the bypass opening
below the paint pump,

4. Place a light coat of oil on the end of the tube fitting, then
insert it securely into the intake port on the sprayer. Be
sure it fits snugly, with no air leaks.
5. Push one end of the suction tube onto the tube fitting.
6. Slide the suction tube
through the container
clip.
7. Push the imake hose
onto tbe suction set
assembly. Make
certain that the intake
filter is in place on the
suction seL
8. Submerge the suction
set assembly into the
material container and
attach the container
clip to the side to hold
it securely.

CAUTION
The suction set must remain completely submerged in the
material. If it is not completely submerged and air is
sucked into the system, the piston could seize. It the
piston seizes, the sound the gun makes will change to a
low hum and the gun will quickly become hot to the touch.
Never run the sprayer when the piston is seized. Should
this happen, clean the piston and the piston housing
thoroughly using the cleanup procedures found in this
manual.
