Using other devices with
your TV
Using Bluetooth
®
private listening (certain models)
Only on certain models, you can pair your Bluetooth headphones or earbuds and use
them to listen privately to the TV. When Bluetooth headphones are connected, you
can listen to any content playing on your TV, and the TV automatically mutes the
sound from its speakers or other connected audio devices.
Note: You can also pair most Bluetooth speakers by following these instructions.
Pair your Bluetooth headphones
Before you can listen to your TV through your Bluetooth headphones, you must pair
them with the TV. You typically need to pair them only one time, after which they will
appear in the list of paired devices.
To pair your headphones:
1. From the Home Screen Menu, navigate to Settings > Remotes & devices, and
then select Wireless headphones. (If you do not see this option, your TV does
not have the Bluetooth feature.)
2. Select Add new wireless headphones and press OK.
3. Turn on your Bluetooth headphones and using the manufacturer’s instructions,
put them in pairing mode.
4. Wait while your TV scans for Bluetooth headphones. Scanning might take up to
30 seconds.
5. Select your Bluetooth headphones from the list of available devices.
