CARE & MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth and some mild detergent. Allow the
interior to completely dry before plugging it back in and returning
food items.
It is important to clean the area where the doors seal against the
cabinet to ensure a tight seal. Clean this area well and make sure it is
completely dry.
Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol as these will
damage the appearance of the freezer. Never use any commercial or
abrasive cleaners.
Never use sharp objects on any part of the refrigerator.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not
affect the freezer. Make sure to minimize the number of times the lid is
opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, take
steps to protect your contents such as adding ice to the freezer or moving
the contents to alternate storage. Wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting
to restart the freezer after a power failure to allow the circuit board to
reboot.
DEFROSTING
This appliance is equipped with an automatic defrost function and does
not require manual defrosting. Defrost water from the appliance is
channeled into a drip tray located above the compressor. Heat transfer
from the compressor causes the defrost water to evaporate.
