Never put hot oil or fat into
the bottle. Please follow
the processing guide.
Never let anybody trip
over the power cord and
attached cable. DO NOT
let the cord touch hot
surfaces or hang down
where a child could grab it.
The capacity of the
ingredient should not
exceed the maximum level
of the bottle.
The appliance should be
run for no longer than
3 minutes. After this
time, allow the blender
to cool down to room
temperature before
restarting.
Operating beyond the
recommended period
may cause the motor to
overheat. If the surface of
the appliance has been
very hot, it may need time
to cool down. Allow the
unit to cool down to room
temperature and then the
appliance can be used
again.
DO NOT use the appliance
to blend ingredients that
may be too hard for the
motor and blades.
DO NOT exceed the
quantities and maximum
time indicated in the
operation guidelines or
processing guide.
DO NOT operate the
appliance when the
bottle is empty, to prevent
overheating and a
potential fire hazard.
DO NOT use the appliance
in direct sunlight or
near heating appliances
(heaters, stoves, ovens etc.).
DO NOT place on top of
another appliance.
DO NOT blend hot or
boiling foods. Always allow
hot or boiling foods to cool
down first before adding
them to the bottle and
processing them.
Avoid coming into contact
with moving parts.
Keep fingers, hair, clothing
and utensils away from
the moving parts.
CAUTION! To reduce the
risk of injury, never place
the assembly blades onto
the base without the
bottle properly attached.
This appliance must be
used ONLY according to
the instructions.
Ensure that the control
dial is in the OFF ‘0’
position before plugging
into the power outlet.
In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately
and seek advice from the
Customer Support Team.

WARNING:

Wiring Safety for UK Use Only
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with
the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, please proceed
as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown
live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral
and must be connected to the
terminal marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live
wire and must be connected to the
terminal marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown
or the blue wire be connected to the
[EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse
of the same rating already fitted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA
approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a
non-rewireable plug fitted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need
replacing, you must use an ASTA
approved one (conforming to BS 1362
of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
If you need to remove the plug –
disconnect it from the mains – and
then cut it off of the mains lead and
immediately dispose of it in a safe
manner. Never attempt to reuse the
plug or insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a danger of an electric shock.

Before First Use:
Read all instructions and safety information carefully before first use. Please retain this information
for future reference.
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time, carefully clean the lid, bottle and blade unit.
3. DO NOT use any aggressive detergents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp objects
for cleaning the unit.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Using Your Appliance:
1. Place the ingredients into the blending bottle.
2. Screw the blending bottle base on to the bottle, turning clockwise to tighten.
3. Place the blending bottle assembly onto the motor base and rotate clockwise until there is an
audible click confirming it is locked in to position. The markings on the motor base and the
bottle should be aligned.
4. Plug the unit in to a mains socket.
5. Turn the control dial to the desired speed – ‘1’, ‘2’ or PULSE.
Note: The PULSE speed is equivalent to speed ’2’ and the unit operates for as long as the control dial
is held in this position. The unit will operate at Speed ‘1’ or ‘2’ continuously until the control dial is
turned to a different position or turned to OFF ‘0’ .
6. Once the ingredients are sufficiently blended turn the control dial to OFF ‘0’.
7. Switch off the appliance at the socket, unplug and disassemble the unit.
WARNING: The continuous operating time must not exceed 3 minutes.
To Disassemble The Appliance:
1. Turn the blending bottle anti-clockwise to remove from the motor base.
2. Turn the blending bottle upside down and unscrew the blending bottle base, anti-clockwise.
3. Pour out the contents. Alternatively, retain the mixture in the bottle and screw the blending
bottle cap clockwise on to the blending bottle. Push up the snap fastener on the lid to open
the outlet to drink directly from the bottle or pour our as required.
CAUTION!: If the blender becomes blocked, turn the control dial to OFF ’0’, switch off at the wall
socket and unplug before disassembling and clearing the blades.

Tips:
Cut food items for blending into cubes (approximately 1-2cm), this will assist in achieving an
even result.
Never fill the Blending bottle above the maximum level indicated.
When pureeing fruit or vegetable, cooked or raw, cut into small pieces to facilitate blending.
Always ensure stones are removed from fruit as these can harm the blades.
Do not process hot liquids in your blender. Allow it to cool before processing.
All the ingredients and foods must be below 40º Centigrade.
Troubleshooting:
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The motor does not
operate.
The safety lock is not connected. Reassemble the blender bottle
and connect to the base correctly.
There is a smell
coming from the
motor/ The motor is
becoming hot.
There is too much food in the
bottle or the motor has been
running for too long.
Reduce the food and run it again
after the unit has cooled down.
The liquid too thick. There is too much food in the
bottle or insufficient liquid.
Reduce the amount of ingredients
added to the blender bottle.
Add more liquid. Ensure that the
maximum limit is not exceeded.
Cleaning & Care:
1. Unplug the appliance base and detach the accessories.
2. Half fill the blending bottle with warm, soapy water.
3. Assemble the bottle and attach to the motor base unit, as described in the Using Your
Appliance section.
4. Press and hold the PULSE function for 1-2 seconds and release. Repeat 3-4 times.
5. Remove the blending bottle and empty and rinse.
6. For thorough cleaning, wash the blending bottle and blending bottle cap again, in the
dishwasher or in warm soapy water.
7. Wash the blending bottle base under running water, with the blades facing upwards. DO NOT
flush water through from the underside of the base.
CAUTION: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp.

8. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth (with a little detergent if required).
9. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.
10. Make sure that the appliance is cleaned after every use.
11. Allow to dry fully after cleaning, before using again.
NOTE: DO NOT use scouring pads, steel wool, any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance; they may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Allow all parts to dry fully after cleaning before using again. Do not use the
appliance if damp.
WARNING:
DO NOT immerse any electrical part of
the appliance in water such as motor units
or plugs.

instructions.
To store your appliance:
1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and clean as above.
2. Allow the appliance to dry fully.
3. Coil the power cord around the cord storage at the bottom of the motor base.
4. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
