Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation with European Belt Guide
1. Secure your child in the
infant car seat before
installing the car seat in
the vehicle.
2. Place the infant car seat
rear facing on the vehicle
seat.
3. Pull the vehicle belt
out and only route the
lap portion through the
carrier only belt guides
and buckle.
4. Wrap the shoulder belt
around the infant car
seat shell. Lock your
vehicle seat belt system
as instructed by your
vehicle owner’s manual.
IMPORTANT: Check your vehicle owner’s manual to
determine how to lock your vehicle belt system.
* If you cannot lock your vehicle seat belt you must
use a locking clip. Locking clips are available from
Britax at 1-888-427-4829 or 1-704-409-1699.
