/3658:'4:9',+:?/49:8;):/549
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical
short circuit, grounding reduces risk of electric shock by providing
an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped
with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and
grounded.
Consult a qualified electrician if the grounding instructions are not
completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance
is properly grounded, and if it is necessary to use an extension
cord, use only a 2-wire extension cord that has a 2-blade
grounding plug and a 2-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on
the appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord shall be
equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.
A short power cord is provided to reduce risk of becoming
entangled or tripping over a long cord, an extension cord may be
used if care is exercised in its use.
The electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as
great as the appliance. The extension cord must be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter-top or table-top where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Fixing and replacement of the power cord must be done by
professionals from the manufacturer’s maintenance department
or the relevant department.
