CLEANING
• Always unplug from the plug socket and allow to cool fully before
cleaning.
• Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a damp cloth and then polish
with a soft dry cloth. Do not use steel wool pads or harsh/abrasive
cleaners.
• Do not immerse the power base or cord and plug in water or liquid
of any kind. Do not hold under running water.
• The filter inside the kettle needs to be cleaned periodically, how often will
vary according to where you live and how often you use your kettle. You
should clean it whenever there are any noticeable deposits left on the filter
and especially if the rate of pouring starts to reduce.
• In hard water areas, scale may build up on the element. Descale regularly
using a proprietary descaler.
