IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: PlEASE SAVE
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
DANGER - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION:
1. Always unplug this appliance immediately after using and before cleaning.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near invalids or individuals with
certain disabilities. This appliance should not be used by children.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return your dryer to the Sam Villa® Service Center for
examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Do not wrap the cord around the dryer. Continuous stress on the cord can damage cord insulation
and result in shock, fire, or burns.
7. Never block the air openings of the dryer or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch,
where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THE AlCI SAFETY PlUG:
The “TEST” button ensures the ALCI device is working.
The “RESET” button clears the ground fault and restores
the ALCI plug’s normal operation.
The ALCI plug should be tested before every use.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
In order to keep your dryer working at its best, please clean the filter once a month with
a soft brush. With regular filter cleaning, your dryer will have a much longer life.
To avoid electric shock, always unplug this appliance before cleaning and do not dip the appliance
into water.
9. Never use while sleeping.
10. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
11. Periodically inspect wall unit for secure mount.
12. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat-sensitive areas of the body.
13. The dryer and its attachments may be hot during use. Allow to cool before handling. To avoid burns, do
not let bare skin come in contact with heated surfaces.
14. Do not place the dryer on any surface while it is operating.
15. Keep hair away from the air inlets while using the dryer.
16. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance (dryer should be plugged directly into a wall outlet and
not be used with any type of extension cord or power strip).
17. Do not use this appliance with a voltage converter.
THIS DRYER HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER) TO REDUCE THE RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK. The plug fits a polarized outlet in only one direction. If the plug does not fit into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, please contact a qualified electrician. ATTEMPTING TO DEFEAT
THIS SAFETY FEATURE COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
