Tripp Lite SRW10US Questions and Answers

#1 Does the SRW10US support casters?

Yes. The SRW10US will work with the SRCASTER Rolling Caster Kit.

#2 How much is a U of space on a rack?

A rack unit (commonly referred to as a "U") is a standard measure of the height of a device in a server rack. One rack unit is 44.45 mm (1.75 in) high. The height of a one rack unit device is described as 1U, a two rack unit device as 2U and so on.

#3 What is the maximum usable depth for the enclosure?

The maximum equipment depth for this enclosure is 20.5". However, if you need more space, we also offer extra-deep wall mount racks.

#4 How do I determine the depth of the cabinet I need?

Wall Mount Rack Cabinets feature adjustable mounting depths with minimums of either 3 or 17 inches and maximums of 16.5, 20.5 or 32.5 inches. To determine the maximum depth you need, measure the depth of your equipment and add 3 inches to allow space for cabling. A cabinet with a maximum depth of 20.5 inches will accommodate equipment with a maximum depth of 17.5 inches.

#5 Is this cabinet compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI)?

Yes. All of Tripp Lite's Cabinets are PCI-Compliant. Sturdy steel panels surround all sides of equipment, preventing unauthorized access to networking devices and ensuring the physical security of equipment that processes, stores and transmits credit card data.
