2. Remove the paper air filter and the filter support.
3. Examine and clean the air filter housing with a brush.
4. Examine the paper air filter. Replace the paper air
filter if it is dirty or damaged.
CAUTION: Do not bend of fold the
paper air filter as this can cause damage
to the paper air filter. Replace a damaged
paper air filter.
To clean the nylon air filter
1. Remove the air filter cover.
2. Remove the nylon air filter.
3. Examine and clean the air filter housing with a brush.
4. Examine the nylon air filter. Clean the nylon air filter
with warm soap water.
CAUTION:
Replace the nylon air
filter if it is damaged or cannot be fully
cleaned.
CAUTION: Make sure that the nylon
air filter is dry before you assemble it.
To clean the foam air filter
1. Remove the air filter cover.
2. Remove the foam air filter.
3. Examine and clean the air filter housing with a brush.
4. Examine the foam air filter. Clean the foam air filter
with warm soap water.
CAUTION:
Replace a foam air filter
that is damaged or cannot be fully
cleaned.

CAUTION:
Always use Husqvarna
special air filter oil. Do not use other types
of oil.
WARNING: Put on protective gloves.
The air filter oil can cause skin irritation.
1. Put the foam air filter in a plastic bag.
2. Put the oil in the plastic bag.
