ARCHED SEGMENT WALLS
The arc function can also calculate the outside (default) and inside
lengths of arched walls. The outside arched wall lengths are meas-
ured outside of the arc (see diagram below). The inside arched wall
lengths are measured inside of the arc (see diagram on page 43).
Arched Segment Walls —
Arched Windows (No Base)
Find the radius of an arched window with a chord length of 8 Feet 1
Inch and a rise of 2 Feet and 10-1/2 Inches. Then, find the arc
angle, arc length and segment area of the window. Then find the
“outside” arched segment wall lengths in order to frame the window.
